Good weekend, busy with the kiddos, but also caught TWO good movies.... 'Signs' and 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' !!

I am busy thinking of how to pack four days in an carry on bag......hubby is giving me this wonderful option of NO LUGGAGE.....we did it last September and it was only for three days...so I am busy thinking of what I DON"T NEED.....whaaa......I told him.....pretty pretty please......but no dice.....

I do not sleep on the hard earth with my camper niether...I wouldn't. I have heat, air conditioning, microwave, oven, fridge
shower, toilet, sofa, dinette, television and a bed with a pillowtop mattress.
I call it...old lady camping!

Hi pumba Forget the PJ's...just sleep in the shirt you wore that day..or er, um, nothing . Extra shoes....For our 4 day weekend last month DD and I EACH brought nice sandals and flipflops and I brought water socks too, we wore our sneakers. To lighten up I wouldve not bothered with quite that much footwear ...but we were packing one big suitcase for both of us so I had room. Roll your t-shirts up real tight instead of folding them...I swear you can fit more that way and you can iron if you need to in the room. That's my 2 cents LOL

Sue---that cabin looks spectacular. I wanna come tooooooooooo!

Hello Everyone.

We here I am at work for my last full week. Looking forward to getting away from it for awhile.

We had a garage sale this weekend to get rid of some of the stuff we decided not to take with us. Did pretty good. It'll help ship DW's car to Austin. The house looks like a tornado hit it with all the boxes and everything. I can't believe that in just two weeks from Thursday we'll be moving to Texas.

thanks Bob...I'm going to see that one if I have to drag Jerry with me its not on top of his "must see" movies
But it'll be a couple weeks before i get there.

Ann...we're going to Jelleystone Labor DAy weekend. We have been there many times when the kids were younger....my little niece and nephew are going as well as our friends so it will be fun.
Its a nice place even without little kids....this is the one in Sturbridge, I refer too....not all of them are as good....if i sit on Yogi's lap for a picture I'll send it to Teri or Sue to post for me

After a long day at work (but, one which left me feeling good about my job and myself ), I am finally home.

The cabin--isn't that gorgeous?? That's in the Smokey Mtns, which is where I've decided to go in Oct, rather than to WDW...(have to look at the $$$).

Since everyone seemed to like it, I suggest a Cheerleader Meet in the mountains!

Hello Everyone....

Got back late last night....Off to bed and then early to work today...

Tonight I am setting up new transcribe station (part time) position that I agreed to take with the hospital....Don't ask me why....George was just saying this weekend that I could be a stay at home Mom....and miss out on making some vacation money...No Way!!!! I live to vacation....hehehehe

Sue - was able to get 3 out of 6 for you...will email you tomorrow with details....not quite as successful as I wanted to be...

No SSB sighting.....George did leave message though...5 days went by sooooo fast.....but we also did so much...and ate many great meals....Ohana and Kona were great as usual...as were Hollywood and Vine and Rose and Crown...(we were able to sit outside at R&C for Illuminations and dinner which was especially nice...and we did the new Storybook Princess Breakfast in Norway...It was wonderful and Savannah even remarked that she liked it better than the Castle breakfast....

And the Dolphin was so wonderful...can't say enough as usual...I had forgotten how wonderful it was as the last few times we had stayed at the Swan...

Well, just wanted to say hi....

and camping looks really good..."old lady camping" that is...

When I was in high school friends used to say that my idea of camping was a condo on Cocoa Beach...hehehehe

Now off to listen to the docs....wish me luck.....
