The worst crowds we've ever encountered were in May and those were barely moderate, at worst. I can't even imagine going during Christmas or Spring Break!

That sounds like our New Years '00 WDW story. We do the summer and have done Christmas two times. By far, the worst was New Years. The parks closed at 10am because they were full. And if you left you weren't coming back in. It was so cold once the sun went down DH and I were considering going back to the hotel but didn't want to miss the fireworks. So we got hot chocolate and froze instead.![]()
Awesome!
Sorry, I was going to respond to what you said but I was on the phone with her and in the middle of making dinner. So back to that...
I hope that nasty bug has finally left your house! But please, keep it in Mississippi... hehe.
DH was stationed at Pendleton (outside San Diego) for several years, so he knows he can handle the California weather. They had one of their Marine Corps. balls at Disneyland. I told him it was a shame I didn't know him yet, haha.
We discussed doing the inaugrual of the Dream... then I got pregnant so DH promised me we could do the Fantasy. Now I'm pregnant again. Oh, well. Who cares if it's the first sailing or not? As long as I get to go back on a Disney ship. I just loooooved my sailing on the Wonder. They truly do a fantastic job!
Would your DH do a cruise?
We SOOOO want to do a cruise!! But.. We cant. We cant get a passport for my oldest, because we cant find his dad. Yee-HAW.![]()
Not really.. I can file a form for something.. I dont know, it has been a while since I looked. I called and asked and the lady said I can apply with extenuating circumstances... But it would most likely NOT get approved.Really?? Their isn't anything they can do for him?? That stinks.![]()
Nosy I know, but how long has he been MIA? Can you not do anything to terminate his legal rights? I've never gotten a passport, so not sure how that works. That really sucks, though.![]()
Honestly.. If I had known this is how it would have turned out with Alex's dad.. I never would have put his name on the birth certificate. My husband and I have been together since Alex was 6 months old. My husband is the only dad he has ever known. I would gladly walk away from the piddly child support we get, just to be done with him already.
Even though I like the carriers, I prefer the stroller at WDW for the bulk of the time. I have the Rayshade and it gives him the best protection from the sun. I'm always worried about sun exposure (especially since a couple of years ago, I had a large chunk of my arm removed)...probably overprotective, but I can't help it. Even with hats and lots of sunscreen I worry.
The carrier is nice for waiting in lines though (and for shopping)!![]()
I got a Rayshade at Marshalls for $3!
MIL had issues with skin cancer, so we are very careful (or we will be! lol haven't really needed to worry yet!)
Okay, those of you with the mesh feeder!
How do you get those things clean?!?!?! I've run it through the dishwasher, tried to clean it by hand... but it's still not "clean"... grrr!
