The "Newest" Moms Hangout...

I'm not really a new mom, my 1st born was born in 2000, but I became a mommy for the 3rd time on Easter Sunday 2009...does that count?

Welcome!! :) Some of us are first-timers, others with much more experience and guidance (that us first timers need!!). It's a great group!

We have pretty much the same age span. 9, 7 & 9 months. And I'm with you on enjoying her, after 2 boys it's so nice to have a girl!!! I just wish she wouldn't have started walking at 7 months old! I miss her being a "baby"!

7 months!! YIKES! I dont think the twins were even crawling by then! Thank goodness.. When they start walking, I think I am going to duct tape them to the floor. :lmao:

Welcome!! I have a 7yo, 4yo, and 10 month old twins. Oh, and my name is Megan!

She was very early. Pulling up in her crib at 4 months old, crawling at 5 months old & walking at 7 months. Funny thing is, she's only 14 lbs. She looks way too tiny to be walking around!

I just wanted to give you guys an update on my friends triplets... All three have been moved to the special care nursery..:cool1::cool1::cool1: Eli is 4lbs 3oz, Charlie is 4lbs 1oz, and Caleb is 3lbs 14 oz. They are already discussing them coming home. HOME!! They are expecting them to be home before their due date, which is March 10th. Considering they didnt expect these babies to make it at all.. Its just amazing how well they are doing.

Welcome!

I have a 5 year old and 7 month old. She's not walking yet but is crawling all over the house and getting in to big brother's stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if she is walking in the next few months. She just started pulling herself up in the crib.

OMG!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: So I am sitting here on the computer, and I smell something funky. I said, ewwww... Something is foul. What is that smell?? Alex starts giggling, maybe its something behind you. My husband said, yeah.. I think it might be something behind you! They had stuck the diaper hamper behind me!:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: EWWWWW!!! Stinky! 4 days worth of cloth diapers!!

Yeah she very very little. 7 lbs even at birth. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: that is hilarious! Whoever said little girls smell sweet has NOT been around Shelby during diaper change!!!!

Ugh, I know that smell well.

Trying to change the trash in Lucas' room (his diaper pail) last night was what made me sick. Gag!!!!

We got home from Walmart a few weeks ago, and I told the kids to unload the car because I thought Katie needed a diaper change. Ds12 grabbed her and said he would do it-thought he would get out of bringing in groceries. The gags coming from the back to the house were hilarious, and I refused to go and help him!:lmao: Next time he will just unload the car!;)

Katie was 7lbs at birth, but hasn't slowed down yet. She is probably around 18 lbs now. She has done everything pretty early(except get teeth!). She can walk holding on to something, but hasn't turned loose yet.

I'm so happy the triplets are doing so well! And cloth diapers, for twins, OMG! I can't even imagine!

Both my boys (9 yrs & 7 yrs) love to change Shelby's diapers. I really think that they believe that she is their personal baby doll! I rely on them alot when they are home. After the Christmas holidays she walked around lost & calling "ba ba ba ba" (she says that when she sees them. We think she's trying to say brother.) and "da da da". When the boys came home from school her face lit up & had the biggest smile on my face, I was in tears. No doubt about it, she loves her brothers & they love her.

WOW!!! She is only 18lbs??

Lucas is 22! And I'm getting lectured that he's underfed?? He's younger than Katie! :scared1:

(He's also working on #3 in the teeth department.)

Ds12 and Katie adore each other, too. He is really good about diapers, this was just a really good one! Dd10 loves her, but there are some pretty serious jealousy issues there, too. She was the baby for a long time, and she is pretty emotional (read "drama queen") even on a good day! They are both a lot of help though. I had to make a schedule of who gets to get her at daycare on which days. We all 3 go in, but they fight over who gets to tote her back to the car and strap her in!

I need to be doing homework. Katie is watching Barney! She loves it-gets mad if anyone walks between her and the tv. After yesterday, I just really want to chill today. I'm off tomorrow, so I'll try again then.

Well I have to bring Shelby back to the dr next month for a weight check up. In 3 months time she has only gained 3 oz. In 6 months time she has gained 1 lb. Crazy thing is, She eats like a piggy!

Oh yeah.. The twins were almost 7 pounds each at birth, and are pushing 25-28 pounds each. They are beastly!

Alex tried to change diapers, but the babies are so big and squirmy he gets it half on and they pee all over the floor. :lmao:But the diapers I use are a challenge even for my husband t put on!

Has anyone heard from Melessa lately?
