Ugh...I'm addicted to slickdeals. I just bought DH an autographed jersey, some head phones and myself some super cute Coldwater Creek clothes. I spent $150. The regular price on the jersey was $300, so I guess I did good, but I gotta get off that site!

Hope everyone has an awesome New Years. I'll be in bed with Lily! lol

I go back to full time next week. Not looking forward to it.

I hope everyone has a Happy New Year! I'm trying to break away from my computer to spend time with the family, but I'm so addicted to Disney planning right now. Normally I have months to obsess, but with booking a trip a month away, I must obsess 24/7 to make up for it.


Any ideas of where to eat for Luca's first birthday?

Ds12 had his 9th birthday party at Garden Grill, and it was awesome! Chip or Dale (can't remember which one!) delivered the cake to the table, he got a signed card, and the characters all made a big deal over him. I had originally booked the qsdp, but have upgraded to the full dining plan for 5 days of our trip (switched to a 5 day package to get the $500 gift card, then have 2 days on my 30% pin code). Garden Grill is one of the meals he asked for.

Chef Mickey's is fun, too, though. They did the napkin dance thing for dd10's 8th birthday, and Goofy snuck up on her!

Katie and I are alone again tonight. Dh and ds12 left for deer camp yesterday, and won't be back until Sat. Dd10 went to mil's yesterday, and was supposed to come back today, but called and begged for an extra night.

I know what you guys mean about the budget board making you spend too much money!!

I spent a crap ton of money today, too! I had to go all over town!
It was time for a major grocery run and I was dreading it but I didn't do too badly I guess. I got $134 worth of groceries for $77.

We're headed to a party tonight... but I'm going to drive-thru Wendys or something first because I could seriously kill someone for a coke right now!!

I'm shocked, I'm not going to lie. No kidding (and maybe TMI) when I say we DTD ONCE.
One. Time.

Neither of us can remember when, either.

I know I haven't had AF in December though and I wanted to drink at the party tonight so for peace of mine I got a test. I'm glad I tested.

I'm excited. DH is thrilled.
I'm incredibly grateful that he is 100% on board with seeing this psychiatrist Monday and actively moving forward in getting help. That eases my mind a whole lot!!

I'm happy that I got my kidlets close together but a little overwhelmed with the idea of how close. I already told DH I'm taking next fall off from school!

Same thing happened with dd10........Valentine's Day 1999. His grandmother was in the hospital dying, I had just weaned ds12 (at 18 mos) and he begged for another baby. The next day, we decided that it was too soon, but it was too late!

I haven't had AF yet, and Katie is almost 8 mos old. I had a tubal, but sometimes I still worry! I'm so dang fertile! And dh still gripes about the tubal at least once a week. I'm 37! AND we are busting out of this house as it is.

If I weren't delivering in a Catholic hospital I'd already be on the phone begging my OB to do a tubal when she does the c-section for this one.

I'll have to settle for Mirena.

I know this probably isn't what I should be thinking about but I can't imagine what to tell my friend. She has been TTC since before Lucas was born and miscarried July of this year. She's been TTC like crazy ever since and I know it shouldn't, but I think this might be the end of our friendhsip... at least until she gets pregnant.

We rented a condo at the beach in May and I figure they'll be backing out now.

I understand. I'm older, we have 2 healthy kids, but didn't think I'd get pregnant again so easy. Our friends had been trying since we met them, when ds12 was in kindergarten (she was his teacher, and dd10's teacher later). They have even done in vitro, but have to save up for a few years between tries. I got off the pill, and 6 wks later had a positive test. I was happy, but even I could see how unfair this is! Thankfully, she is finally pregnant, and everything is going great!

Happy New Year! I still have about 48 min to go here. Katie just went to sleep, and I'm alone with her. I guess I need to be studying for my Praxis in Library and in Counseling. I haven't even started, and the tests are next Sat.

Ugh! I'm sorry. This is a crazy time of year to try to study for those tests! So much going on!

It's NOT fair. I was so excited when she got her BFP in June but then she miscarried the day after I got my gallbladder out. I felt so terrible for her. I just can't imagine, I really can't. And I really hope I never have to experience it... fingers crossed.

I don't know why some people get pregnant so easy and others try and try. Lucas was my first month off of birth control and this baby will be the result of ONE night. I know it was only once because there haven't been many times I liked DH much recently. Isn't that terrible? lol.

I wish infertility didn't exist...

What really steams me are the people who repeatedly get pregnant just to abuse the system when there are hard-working people out there trying and trying and paying thousands of dollars and still not getting a baby. It seriously mystifies me.


Happy New Years to you! Whenever it happens. I took a "2009" picture of Lukie and then a "2010" and then I put him to bed. He went straight to sleep! haha.

Yeah, that does suck! When I tested to find out I was pregnant with Zander, I was at the grocery store picking up beer for DH and I and I thought to myself that I better take a test "just in case"! Oh well, I didn't get to drink that beer!

IT's worth it.

So I didn't/don't get to drink for my 22nd and 23rd birthdays. There are a whole bunch more to make up for it later on.

I'm hoping my OB will order an ultrasound for me on Monday when I call (to date it!). DH got the day off because of his appointment and maybe we can pop in together and see the bean. My first ultrasound with Lucas was at 18wks so no little "bean" images.

Yes, I'm still up.....We don't live in the best area, I'm here alone with Katie, and fireworks are driving me crazy!

I bet you do get a sonogram this time, since you have no way of knowing "when" you conceived!

I did get some work done tonight, but no studying. I have to document 300 hours of counseling for my practicum, and I haven't typed any of it up since September! I had it all on calendar pages. I got everything typed up tonight, and I have almost 250 hours! I want to be finished with the practicum by Spring Break (it is a year long work at your own pace kind of class).
