I want to ship a package to the WL. Our arrival is Nov. 18. NOw, of course I want to ship as cheap as possible--but I also want a guarentee my package will arrive!! Any suggestions? UPS ground? If you have shipped, please let me know how you shipped (UPS, FedEx, USPS) and when it was promised to arrive.

I ship things all the time and get my price/time quotes ahead of time on the different websites.

FYI - USPS is usually cheaper but takes more time. DHL is usually less expensive than FedEx if you want that kind of tracking.

Just wanted to mention that I shipped a package today(mon) from Fort Wayne, Indiana to the WL via FedEx Ground. it will be there on Wed. The package was 41 1/2 lbs and it cost me $19 and some change.

OK, here's a dopey question, but how many sleighs do they have operating at once? Just wondering, since I noticed on another thread that another DIS-er had a sleigh ride scheduled the same night and time as us. So I'm assuming there are multiple sleighs?

In the past there has only been one Sleigh at the Lodge.

Andy'sgirl: Thanks for the reply. They must have raised the price. I call the Mercantile a little while ago and they told me $65.

I just checked the price of the Lincoln Logs yesterday at the Mercantile, the price was $50.00 no price increase.

We are Trying to CHANGE /upgrade from Coronado to WL...Can you guys tell me what we will get thats Different etc BY upgrading ( wondering if its worth the stress with the ressie system still being down ?)
or should we just stay at coronado? HELP......what are the Benefits of staying at WL over coronado?

While most on this thread would all say that staying at the Lodge is more than worth the extra cost and effort only you can decide if it is worth it to you.

While many enjoy staying at Coronado Springs I found it to be too spread out. Many guest would disagree with my opinion, so it's all subjective.

I enjoy the deluxe resorts because I prefer the interior hallways, private balcony's, and queen size beds. I actually love everything about the Lodge.

YEs we did have/ do have a KING bed room booked at CSR currently ( we have a kind bed here at home, now way could I do a dbl@ lol)

just a question about rooms for jan.

anyone who is going in jan get a standard view aaa rate yet? i've called and called and nothing is available. i was just wondering if they had put them out yet?

I booked our standard room AAA discount for 12/06 a year ago. Why wouldnt they have the rates for this Jan?

There are so few standard view rooms at the Lodge and they only have a few rooms allocated for AAA, AP and Florida Residence discount rates. So the AAA rates for January could already be taken as the AAA dicounts are released way before the other discounts.

Checking rooms for Janaury during Iggbees dates there aren't any Standard View Rooms available even at rack rates. So there won't be any AAA discounts available, all of the standard rooms are booked.
