If it is possible to get a woods view on the northside in an upper floor (I know slim chance, but if I could), would you or would you not take it and why? We are trying to decide if we should do it or not if one is available. We would like to see Wishes from our room and the castle if possible and I do not really want to go to CR for that view. Thanks if you answer.
The Sunrise Safari is only for AK CL guests - the Wildlife Discovery Excursion (I think that's what it's called) is for all CL guests, but is only an hour long and doesn't include a meal.DLBDS said:Am I correct that anyone staying concierge can take advantage of this or is it for AKL concierge only?
LisaRN said:When I stay Courtyard I request a room above the pool area. If you are going to be using Roaring Forks, I would suggest the North Wing as that wing has an elevator in it that would take you down right next to that. If you stay south wing, you'd have to make your way over to the North wing to get there..and it looks like your children are quite young. Then just add on a non-smoking with 2 queens and you'll get no bunks![]()

I had a hard time choosing a resort because it looks like there are a bunch of great places. I had it narrowed down CR, Poly, and WL. After reading this thread, I booked the CL at WL for Aug. 7th-14th.![]()
I have a little over 2 weeks until we go.Anyhow, I wanted to thank everyone who posted before me because your discussions have been very helpful.

We too are hoping for bunks, we have a girl-17 and a 11 boy, I don't have a problem with them sleeping together, but both are restless sleepers and I don't think even the largest bed could they sleep together and all of us get a good night sleep! Kids can get so weird about this kind of thing.
I went to target and bought a single air bed with an inflatable pump. It was only $16. It is not too heavy nor does it take up much room in a suitcase. If we don't get the bunks I plan on using that as a backup. We will all sleep better!

pooch said:My DS is also 15. I know he will be looking for a pool buddy. Maybe we can get them together? Nick is a reasonably (!) well behaved, semi-girl crazy, really good kid. Please let me know if we can arrange this. I know he'll want some "away from the crazed DIS mom" time!!!
Va-bear said:We're going the EXACT same time - how cool!! Good luck with the bunks - we're trying to get them too (but good news, you're getting there before us)
Hope we ALL have a great time and get our bunks!![]()
Its 10:45pm 7/20/06 and the price has gone up, well actually only the dryers, its 2.00$ a load now also, also soap and 2 dryer sheets will cost you a 1:50$.DLBDS said:It doesn't give hours exactly but....this came from Beckie on Page 1:
WL LAUNDRY:
Location: 1st floor across from the elevators down from Roaring Forks
Washers: 5 (med sized loads) $2.00 a load
Dryers: 10 $1.00 for 15 min, (60 min max)
Go in the evening time right before the rush. There is a waiting line till about 11:00pm. If you didn't come back for your dryer in time your stuff is taken out! Everyone is splitting their wash load into 2 dryer loads so it would dry faster. Most of the WL VET ladies reccmend early morning.

We are getting to the resort about 9am so I am keeping my fingers crossed but with our backup plan I won't be too disapointed with 2Q beds..

It cost us 7:50$ to do 1 load of laundery because the dryers dont work all that great so we spent 4.00$ on a load for the dryer.
SnoopyDancer said:I changed my reservations to the AKL, so I won't be able to give you and Kelly the scoop. Since I won't go to Africa anytime soon, AKL ended up swaying me. I'm definitely planning to visit WL in August. I have a feeling I will be staying there on my 2nd trip to WDW.
I hope you and Kelly enjoy your trips!![]()
