Mid 40's to the early 1950's would have suited me just fine to be born in that time. I would have been able to attend Woodstock in 69 then.

I'm sure there's more, lol. I heard of Nightwish from someone on VMK, then I forgot to listen to them...then someone on DIS told me about them

I've heard of those bands from friends, by reading comments, other bands touring with them...

The Bled are from Tucson, lol. My cousin loves them.
Billy Talent was touring with My Chemical Romance. I heard of them like a year before from comments on a Three Days Grace song but I didn't listen to them til after that concert.
My friend asked me if I liked MSI...
Before Their Eyes was touring with Eyes Set To Kill.
Nightwish...read above, lol
Within Temptation...I was reading something, it might have been a list of rock/metal bands with female singers.
Jack Off Jill...I was reading comments for some Otep song.
The Birthday Massacre! I clicked the random song thing on imeem...awhile before that I read something that said people that like MSI might like them, so I listened to the song, it was "Blue" I loved it, lol.

A lot of people haven't heard of most the bands I like...like, my family, lol. When I went to school I wrote a lot of band names on my planner and no one knew who most of them were, lol.
