Alright Gail, I haven't finished reading through this evening's posts, but I just can't take the butchering anymore. So here it is, the way you put your (or anyone else's) name in color and bold...
[b][color=purple]Gail[/color][/b].

This will result in your name looking like this - Gail - when you submit your post. You can substitute any valid color or color code for purple. You can also substitute u and /u to underline your text or i and /i to italicize your text.

Yup [color=339900]ibouncetoo[/color], posting a link is very similar to posting on color. Just substitute [url]web address for link[/url]. The same is true for posting pictures only it's [img]web address for picture[/img].

Speaking of which, I'm off to delete my trip report. I've decided that's the best thing I can do. It's not right for my family to be subjected to this. It's not why I did a trip report, that's for sure.

Actually, the Dis has a great section to automatically add the tags . as you are posting, look above the box you are typing in. there is an area called "vB Code" If you click on one of those buttons (or select from a drop-down) you get a dialog box that you can type your text in. When you click OK, it places the code for what you typed at the bottom of your post.

Kimmar, We are going to stay at WL (Villas) does this mean we will become WL Vets? (Nephosaurus prefers another word to VET, Not sure why... )

Well I do and I will quote the magazine now:

The small hut near his underground hideout "was poorly kept and dirty and full of all kinds of things like cucumbers and half-eaten pomegranates, a couple of Mars bars sitting on the table," says Col. James Hickey, who led the raid. "I don't know how quickly Saddam went into his hole. But [in the hut] the lights were still burning."

Can you believe that?!?

Now we know where all the Mars bars went! Now all they have to do is find the secret underground bunker where he's storing the rest of them.......

Thanks. I have been to the tech board and do understand, but, I think I have enough pictures in my sig. right now. I have to use the url tag cause they are my pictures I have stored on the Sony site. Have to link it somehow. Right? I hope.

I think one of the reasons some of us like the DB is that you can state your honest thoughts and opinions on topics. You can discuss topics that you might not feel comfortable discussing with family and friends (like religion and politics) for fear of hurt feelings, losing friends or serious family fights. LOL.

Unfortunately, some people take it too far and show no respect for others. They get a bit self-righteous and nasty--probably because it is the internet and not an "actual human being". Does this make sense? The funny thing is that I actually have a mental picture for some of these people. Like one person that was involved in the "lapping" debate. In my mind she looks, speaks and acts like Mrs. Kravitz(?) the nosey next door neighbor on "Bewitched".
