Well! It seems like everyone is going to WDW without me. But that's okay. I'm going to Alaska without you! Well, maybe.

They took away our cruise ship because another got damaged. I thought they'd book us on another of their ships but they're telling us that a new boat will be provided. I was instructed a few days ago, so I can pass it on to you now, Gail! use the [] on each side of color=purple, then your name inside then do the [] on each side of /color. Don't forget to bold your name, also with a b and /b inside the []. So.....GAIL HAYDEN is your color now!

Oh Laura I forgot to tell you. Late last week Norwegian Cruise Line tried to pull their advertising off the air because of the 'issue' with a ship docked in Germany (or somewhere like that). Pretty much the broadcast community said, "Hey, you got more then one ship!" So, anyway, they're back on the air today (if, in fact, any stations did pull their spots).
So, hopefully, they've got their plan in place and they'll find some kind of boat for you to use!

I see my little sister popped in again. I think she'll be coming by more often and will pick a color....like Gail she'll probably choose something from the purple family.

Seriously, Since you have selected a color that that isn't taken,
The color wheel will be updated when RRBB will awaken...

(actually she is upstairs Scrappin', and when she comes down she will probably update the wheel)

Two things I need to point out on TAGLIARCHY Color Wheel,

1. Mad4Mickey has not yet picked a color. We cannot have that...no no no...maybe if she doesn't pick one soon we should have a poll...
2. My beloved RRBB did not put the link in to her artifacts Smiley...
I am sure it will be corrected forthwith, she is doing such a great job with the TAGLIARCHY Color Wheel, I just have to kid her when she does something so selfless...

OK, try this way.

A 'b' between [] folowed by color=purple (or the name/number of someone else's color) between [], then the name followed by /color between[] then /b between []...this will give you the name in BOLD in the appropriate color.

How's that?




edited to say: yes, I printed out the color wheel and actually hand type the codes.....I feel like anytime I have to take my hands from the keyboard to the mouse, it slows me down. Guess I'm not REALLY part of the 21st century yet

if you take out the spaces after the two "[" it will work, or you can see how the HTML codes look on the TAGLIARCHY Color Wheel, or you can quote this post and see the HTML I used, or you can build it yourself using the vB Code buttons on the Post Reply screen...

LOL, I saw the code, that part I got, but, where to put it after I figured out the code, but, since you so nicely did it for me, I am just nifty now.

[color=339900]ibouncetoo[/color], if you open up a second copy of internet explorer (or netscape, or whatever you use) you can switch between to windows with the Alt-Tab and Shift-Alt-Tab commands (keyboard shortcuts). This will let you have access at work, and will make sure you have everyones current color...

Well, I just went back over to the DB and I think I know the trick...maybe...I wrote specifically that I was making an observation and it wasn't an attack and it seems to have worked, at least for one post! GAIL, you almost got it, but for every command, you have to surround it with brackets on both sides and with a / inside the brackets to close the commands out. So in the case of your name, it would be:

(b)(color=purple)GAIL(/color)(/b) Where ever ( is, replace with [ and where every ) is, replace with ]. I hope this helps...It is basically a modified HTML code.
