I didn't think there was - I wish there was though! I was considering bringing a wireless router along. Ten nights is a long time for no wifi! Lol!

Even without wifi, the internet connection is included in the $10 resort fee. You will not be without internet service! (I can't last 8 nights without it, either. LOL)

We have iPads so unless there is wifi we can't connect.
I just called the "general inquiries" number at the Dolphin. The gal who answered said there IS wifi in all the rooms.

I wish I had some way to confirm this prior to our arrival. I will not need a router if that's true. Anyone arriving before me that can let me know? We arrive 6/23.

Under 30 days now!!!! So excited! I picked up one of the certificates for Garden Grove but I cannot get a breakfast ADR to save my life! Every day we're there is booked. I was able to only get the Mediterranean night. I'm going to keep checking - fingers crossed!

:wave2: Hi everyone. I'm going to have my first stay at the Swolphin (Dolphin specifically) Oct 6-14th. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a few questions/concerns I have?:flower3:

What towncar/shuttle service does anyone recommend for getting from MCO to the Swolphin?

What kind of toiletries are in the rooms? Do I need to bring showergel?

Can you still use the online dining reservation system? Does it recognize your Swolphin confirmation code?

When going to EMH do you have to show your Swolphin room card, since you don't have a KttW card?

and my last question is of a more boozy nature... Any good lounges/bar/hangouts?

Thanks in advance for your help.:worship: I'm really looking forward to the resort, after a less than spectacular on property resort experiance last time.

I think your DH is going to win this one-the GC is for dinner, only. I had really hoped to use it for the breakfast buffet. :sad1:

I checked the menu two different places and one has fried chicken and ribs, the other one does not hmmmm. Also, I did call to check, the BBQ is offered on Sunday and Wednesday. I saw I think Tuesday and Sunday was listed somewhere else. I guess I will make the ADR when I can and check when we get there. DH is a fried chicken lover and it really doesn't matter to me.

I also saw that the almond crusted french toast is not showing on the updated menu. I think this menu is on the DIS. There is some sort of banana raspberry replacement.

I also didn't know you can only use 1 per month lol

If there is someone going in June that can use the $25 GG gift cert, please PM me and I will send it to you since I have bought several and can only use one of them. I am going to keep 2 I think just in case I get a chance to take a quick trip!

I see now that the Garden Grove certificate is for dinner only. However, I don't recall seeing that when I ordered my certificate last week. I just checked my Garden Grove certificate, and there is no dinner-only restriction - so I'll be having the breakfast buffet! :woohoo:

Answered all your questions and my computer hiccuped. :lmao: Let me try again...
1. Try the Transportation thread - lots of reviews for different Town Car services. We use one specifically, but it's not on the "sponsor" list.
2. Previous year's toiletries were Coconut Lime Verbena from Bath & Body Works (my scent of choice at home) but I think they changed to "Bliss" products. Someone who's been recently can help out with that one.
3. Use your room key for EMH and ask for one for each member of your party at check in.
4. oh my, yes! :goodvibes Cabana Bar has great drinks and terrific food in a lovely atmosphere. People watching in the Dolphin's lobby by the fountain, sipping an espresso martini from the Lobby Bar, is a favorite close to a busy day at the parks! :cool1:

I don't recall seeing it when I ordered either and nothing on the cert so I guess it will be worth a try! When are you going? I won't be there until December so I would be curious to see if they give you a problem trying to redeem for breakfast! :cheer2:

December is the earliest I'll be there, too, and I'm going solo! Those gift certificates might not get redeemed until March or April when I'm at WDW with others.

Hi All-

We are leaving a week from Friday for the Swan!!! I have a couple of questions:

1. Are the pool towels nice and big or should we bring some of our own?

2. Any idea how long the bus takes to get to Downtown Disney? My 2 daughters are dancing there on June 21st!! If we decide to take a taxi instead, any idea of the cost?

Thanks so much!!

Set up your online concierge and make your reservations and other special requests there....

On mine it shows in the special instructions section.

Thank you so much SingingMom and Dan Murphy!:goodvibes.

I really hope it's Bliss products! I actually use them at home so I *really* wouldn't need to bring anything.

I am trying to figure out the rotating menus for Garden Grove. Different sites have conflicting info. Can anyone confirm seafood is Monday & Friday? Or just Friday?

It's not on mine under Special Instructions. Did you book it this week at 80% off? I booked last week at 70% off, so I paid $1 more - but get to eat breakfast!

Hey guys, I checked out the concierge link (thanks Dan!!) and it says you can't make a reservation for the character breakfast at Garden Grove. Did I misread that?

I noticed that you can make a GG reservation directly from the restaurant.com site. Go to the GG certificate and where you see the info on it (before you order) it says "Make free reservation"
