I have a question for everyone
Does anyone pre pay their trip instead of charging the entire stay on a credit card? How did you go about this?

I preferred the good old days of almond-scented oatmeal soap, or even the Coconut Lime Verbena Bath & Body Works products.

:thumbsup2

I sooo miss the Bath & Body Works Coconut Lime Verbena!

I will be pre-paying our hotel stays before we go, I don't like endless cc bills that I can't keep track of when I am on vacation, would rather just worry about spending money.

All you have to do is call the hotel and they will fax you back a form to pre-pay.

Yes I know my ticker is messed up, waiting for help from tch support.

:thumbsup2 I loved this stuff so much at one of our recent hotel trips that I had to buy the shampoo and conditioner for my own home when we got back.

I love that stuff...In fact one year I stockpiled all of the little bottles they put in our room;) and ended up paying extra baggage fees at the airport! I thought my DH was going to kill me!

I did that last year and had no problem at all. If I remember correctly I didn't even have to use a form....I just called in and did a pre-pay amount charged to my debit card. Things may have changed, but regardless, it's really easy!

Just booked a 1 night stay at the Swan in November for the F&WF. My friend and I did the same trip last year but stayed at the Dolphin. It's funny to go to Disney without the family, but we had such a great time!

I love Disney hotels, but for the night I'm going the Disney prices were so outrageous. I got the Swan with the allears discount for $265 including resort fee & taxes - balcony room facing the park. I could have gotten a regular room for $220 all included. The cheapest room at the Beach Club was $416, Boardwalk $525 and Yacht Club was sold out. :scared1:

Very excited for crab nachos at Bluezoo!!

My "scent of choice" is always Bath & Body Works Coconut Lime Verbena, so I was disappointed when they changed to Shine. :guilty: Now I have to bring my own, and DH isn't happy it's just MORE TO PACK! :lmao:

Well, Dolphin is still my backup plan (behind YC with GP RO discount) but i'm feeling much better about it. I've been checking rates about once a week and on Friday, the rates for my days went down. The S/D rack rate went down by $200. The Travelocity rate went down by less but it's still slightly cheaper.

Even better, I was able to log in to the S/D website and modify my reservation to use the new, cheaper rate. Didn't even have to make a phone call. Being able to do stuff online always makes me happy.

We also revamped the plan somewhat. We kicked out a lot of little stuff so that we could squeeze in MNSSHP (surprise on DS8's birthday). That means DS8 now gets one pool day, and that's the day my parents will be joining us at the resort/boardwalk. So if he's at SAB, then my parents can't join us until after we're done. But if we're at Dolphin, we can hang out at the pool and then my father will take DS fishing. He's so excited about that option. I've seriously got the only kid on the planet that wants to go to Disney World for the fishing. :lmao:

So we're still trying for YC but I won't be sad if we won't get it. We'll make a final decision next Monday.
