Good Morning everyone!

Count me in on the virtual trip to DLP, I have no idea where anything is, so don't leave me behind.

OK, my curiosity has gotten the best of me, I've got to see what Lewski has gotten herself into now....

Ok Lewski...I am right there with you now...Hope I don't get flamed!!

Leski - Queen of the DEBATE!!

Day late...

LOL..I have recovered..I appreciated your help on WL...It is over now...you shared my pain with 9/11

Wow you guys have been busy! So many pages to read, so little time...

Anyway, hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was a bit on the quiet side, had the apartment to myself to I decided to enjoy some nice "me" time. Well, nice "me and the Prince of Darkness" time to tell the truth. Napped, watched old scary movies, ordered in Chinese food and pizza. Was a bum and I loved it all!

But alas, Joe was back from his country music concert whirlwind on Sunday afternoon. Then Mommy Dearest came into town yesterday. Ever see a 6'4", 37 year old man go from tough guy to "yes Mom..." in three seconds or less? That would be me.

The good thing (shhhh, don't tell them) is that I had to work today so Joe is taking the Mominator to SoHo for a whirlwind shopping tour. I don't have to spend the day holding a purse! Woo hoo hoo hoo!!!

I'll always be around to do that, trust me.

NOOOOO!!!

DisneyDmbNut, that is so sad, I have a good friend that had premie twins, They survived, but they are still on feeding tubes...

Hi Rick, Hows it going?

Kismetdreams, Wichitaw Falls is about 2.5 hours north of Dallas, what weekend will you be there; I might be able to convince RRBB for a road trip!!!!!

Sorry for the lack of color, in a hurry at work, and being a little lazy...

:bounce:

Ohanafamily and Mad4Mickey, it looks like Joe and I and a bunch of our friends, will be flying into Dallas on Friday, April 30. Probably going to Gilley's Dallas that evening. Then off to the Southfork for the BBQ on Saturday, then flying back to NYC on Sunday. Be great to meet up with you guys on Friday night or Saturday night!

What say you?

Oh, and BTW, when I was growing up the term "Shacking Up" was reserved for a more intamate non-marital relationship than "Rooming With".....

Now, Let's go check out this debate.....
:bounce:

Almost forgot.. Never been to DLP, but I have heard they have a great Wild West Show. Also, there are more Sit-Down type restaraunts, and the food is better...I'll see if I can find a map.....

If you've been to one dis park, they look about the same. Count me in on the Paris Disney or as it used to be called Euro Disney. Went 3x while living in Germany. Very nice. It is funny how when a cm makes an announcement, they start off in English, then French then about 5 other languages.

Welcome back RICK!! Missed ya! Give MAD a hug for me when you see her. I miss her too!

Went the first few months after it opened. In fact it wasn't too long after the farmers protested Euro Disney with their tractors blocking major streets into Dis- which is totally in the boonies. Lots of room to build!!
Funny story about our first trip. We lived about 6 hrs out and had planned a weeks stay. Packed the two toddlers pjs and all into the car EARLY in the am on a Sunday morning hoping to arrive by noonish. Well got about half way there "OMG guess what I forgot??" OH no. The kids shoes. Well in France you just can't pull over to a Wal mart and pick up a pair esp on a Sun. Everything is closed. So hopefully I'd be able to buy some at Dis. Only 2 stores in all of their Dowtwown Dis area had kid's shoes. The sport store had NO shoes for kids. The other was a trading post. To make a long story short, they had shoes. The ones for Sam were too small and the ones for my boy were too big. A cm said under no circuimstnces can the kids go shoeless in the park. So $130 later, we had shoes for the kids. Very uncomfortable week for the kids. But they were troopers. They rode the stroller the whole trip!! And to boot, NOT KIDDING here, we went back to the states for a visit with family about 6 mos after our first trip to DLP and we saw the EXACT sames shoes at KMART for $5 each!!!hehehehe But I did talk my dh into two more trips for the kids. I remembered the shoes!!

But like I said before, DLP is very much like Disneyland in CA. Same setup. Even the bathrooms were in the same places!!

Now I must conqueor Disney Tokyo

Oh no we were on page 2!!!!

I thought I better bump us back up.

I better go now, I want to watch the new episode of Stargate SG1.:wave2:
