the new pool @ Kidani

from what I have read new pool at kidana is going to be awesome, so much that there will be no poolhopping. but does anyone have a proposed picture? the only picture I have seen are of the splash area. The reason I'm asking is my kids love swimming and would love a slide but I would like to stay at the new kidani village next sept. Thanks

The "no pool hopping" is because it's at a resort where pool hopping is not allowed. The new pool being awesome has nothing to do with it.

People staying at Kidani or Jambo will be able to use it, but that's all.

From what I recall, it will have the splash area, a pool, and might be bigger than the other pool but I don't know for sure.

And you're right. If AKL hadn't already been a 'no-hop' resort, the Kidani Village pool would have certainly been designated as such; as was Storm-a-long.

Is there a prayer that the pool might open a couple weeks before the May 1 opening of Kidani itself?? We're gonna be there the third week of April.

I don't have my hopes up, but stranger things have happened.

According to the dvcmembers website - reservations can be made for May 1, 2009. Will they unveil it before? I don't know.

I do know that some construction will be going on during June 21-24 when we are there - that's what MS said but I asked specifically about the pool being open d/t my kids loving the pools she said yes.

I thought I read it was going to be a sand bottom pool themed around a African Waterhole back story. Lots of waterplay areas etc. Was I dreaming this?
