am i the only one who last may when i took the boat from thepoly to MK it never stopped at the GF? It was direct MK->Poly and Poly-> MK only

I don't know because the standard order when leaving the park is MK > GF > POLY.

There is a check in desk where you check in, they will give you the KTTW card which is also your room key. If you purchased a package including park tickets, the park tickets will be on the KTTW. If you haven't purchased a package including tickets, you can get tickets loaded on to your KTTW card by the check in desk or the concierge desk. If you purchased tickets elsewhere, they can also load your ticket information on to your KTTW card and discard the tickets you purchased.
For the HDDR, you will have to pick up your tickets from the concierge which you can do right after you check in. They can also print you a list of your dining ressies.

I haven't stayed at the Poly before, but from my understanding, the Island Guide is a completely different desk. They seem to be responsible for handing out leis and providing Polynesian information including arts and crafts and resort info.

Load the tickets might be tricky. In our package we got 1 day base tix b/c DH and I have tickets already and we are going to purchase a 3 day hopper ticket for DS. I think we should use up the 1 day base tix first and then have them put all the tickets on our KTTW cards.
So there are seperate hard tickets for HDDR. I hope they have our tickets b/c when we booked HDDR we had reservations at the WL

We decided to upgrade to GVC but could not get it for our original dates and went ahead and took June 1-8 Mon-Mon.

I looked online today and GVC was available for our original dates.

What would you guys do? Of course sat-sat works better for our work week.

I'd call and change the dates back to your original dates, since it would work better for you with work. . Just let IPO know your dates have changed...easy as that.

Are you using a discount code? That is usually the problem. They only offer so many discount codes for certain dates. Even though it is avail online it is not always avail with the code. The military rates are really limited but I know the 40% codes they are emailing have more rooms avail.

They also extended the buy 4 get 3 free, not sure if that would work for you but you could always check into that. That has to be booked by he 24th of Jan and is good for travel through June 27th.

I'd call and change the dates back to your original dates, since it would work better for you with work. . Just let IPO know your dates have changed...easy as that.

I agree with doing this because it should not be that hard.

We will be buying our tickets at SOG (and having them activated at the ticket window at the parks), since these are special tickets (companion tickets and the one free military ticket) can we still have them put on our KTTW cards at the Poly?

It would be nice to have everything on one card per person, instead of a room key and a ticket per person. If not though, it's not a huge deal.

Do you really want to use these one day tickets? You could keep those for a future trip (and then update to what you need then). If you would be one day short on the tickets you have now, you can just add one day for a smaller amount. The first day is the most expensive... You can always ask for the tickets in your package to be seperate from the KTTW

oh i am looking under the 4/3 link, i have been checking it obsessively for a while now to upgrade to GVC. The only thing showing up for a while now was LVC.

We used special-purchase tickets for our trip in 2007 and we weren't able to add them on to our KTTW cards. However, it never hurts to ask because policies can change. Have a great trip

What are the hours of the pool? DBF and I are arriving after 10pm and a quick jump in the pool would be a welcome 'Hello!' from flying from MA. Would those wonderful jets be on that late?

I've never seen the resort launch run between only the Polynesian and the Magic Kingdom, but I guess it's not impossible that it happened

The pool is basically open 24 hours a day. The lifeguards are usually only on duty until around 10pm, sometimes earlier during the winter months. I'm not sure if the jets would be running because I know that they close down the slide and turn the waterfall off when the lifeguards leave for the night. It'll be fun no matter what!

I'd probably change back to the dates that work the best for me. Letting IPO know of any changes they need to make for you (in the way of dining ADRs, etc) is a good idea.

I checked online again, just in case it was a fluke. It was still there.

I did cancel our hotel for the night before the package started and booked for 2 days later. At work today I cancelled my time off for May 29 and added June 8.

All of these things are easily resolved, I guess, I just need to get in the mindset that it takes to stay on the phone with reservations for a good 15 minutes or more to change it again.

I have taken the boat from the Poly to MK without stopping at GF. The driver got close enough to see that there was nobody waiting at the GF dock so he didn't stop.

Exactly. Which is why we like taking the boat launch whever possible to the MK. No stop at the GF.

I was wondering if the boat from the Poly to the MK was wheelchair accessible?

We will have someone with us who has some mobility issues and will be using a wheelchair (not all the time, but absolutely at the parks), but the boat from the Poly to MK looks a little small and I wasn't sure if they'd be able to accommodate her wheelchair or not. She can transfer to a seat as long as we can get the wheelchair on the boat so we'll have it when we exit.

If not, it's not a huge deal, since we can use the monorail to. Just wanted to know if the boat will be an option for us when we have the wheelchair.

Also, does anyone know how deep the main pool is (at the deepest point)?
