I never like to drink tap water, and we're flying to WDW so space is limited in what we can bring. Iam wondering if any of you can tell me about availability of bottled water at the Poly and in the longhouses? Lots of Soda Machines? for sale in the gift shop? etc. I drink tons of water and this has just occured to me.

I included bottled water in the order I'm having sent from www.gardengrocer.com

I also ordered some as a surprise for my sister (who is going to the GF tomorrow!!!) From Staples. It's the one thing she didn't think to order for herself.

There is definately bottled water you can buy at the resort shops (and probably vending machines), along with in the parks. But remember, those bottles add up fast, so plan on setting aside plenty of cash for water if you plan on drinking a lot!

A more economical solution would be to order cases of water and have them delivered to you at the resort, if money is an issue. At $2-$3 PER BOTTLE, it adds up very fast!

This thread about having bottled water shipped to your resort might be helpful to you:

How big are the refridgerators at the Poly? Are they in all rooms or do we need to request one? Thanks.

Hi Poly Experts,
Quick question - is there a CD player in the room anywhere, perhaps clock radio?
I am a little concerned about putting my 2 year old down for a nap or bedtime. I'm hoping she will be exhausted but it would help if she could hear her Pooh music while drifting off.
Thanks!

They are in all rooms. They are the "standard" small fridge size. You know like the one you might find in the average college dorm

Both our girls crashed at night and the fireworks didn't even wake them up at night...and they were pretty loud. There is no CD player in the room...there is a clock radio though. :)

As someone mentioned there are clock radios in every room. They do not have a CD player on them (unless you're in one of the suites), however they do have a port for your iPod if you have one :thumbsup2

The club level rooms also have DVD players that can read regular audio CDs, as well as MP3s burned to CD. You can actually even look at your photo CD's on them :rotfl2:

Hi all,

We've ordered water and other snacks a few times from a place called Goodings. http://www.goodings.com./default.asp

It worked out really well. When we arrived at the resort a package was waiting for us. We got water, peanut butter, bread, chewy bars, apples, oranges etc...Snacks and drinks we could toss in a nap sack and take with us to the parks. We saved alot of money this way.

You are right, the fridge is about the same size you would see in a dorm room or a small beer fridge some people have in their garage. Plenty of room for the kind of food I mentioned.

There is no cd player. Do you have an ipod. Your child could use that. But, as somebody else mentioned the kids are pretty tired by the end of the night. I think you can tune into Disney radio on the clock radio and if I recall there is some kind of story time or wake up call system from Disney characters on the phone but I'm not sure.

Cheers

Nice! I had no idea. I have been taking my own travel speakers and cords for our iPods. The quality is probably a lot better with my stuff but I'd rather not have to even pack it. Thanks so much for this info ConcKahuna :thumbsup2

I had the same issue when we went with ds last year, I rented one for the week along with some other gear from a babys best friend, the deliver it to the resort, if you think it will be an issue then rent it so you don;t have to worry about disturbing her routine. Have a wonderful trip!:goodvibes

I have a question about garden view. Previously we've stayed in Fiji and Samoa with garden views... are those the best choices or are we missing out on another spot that is better??? We arrive at the Poly on July 30th. Thanks for the info! :thumbsup2
