Yes. I'm 99% sure that all the rooms at poly have a frig and there is a laundromat onsite

I have a couple questions--

Do all rooms have little fridges?

Is there a washer/dryer (laundromat) available onsite for guests to use??

Yes and yes! ::yes::

The guest laundry is near the Great Ceremonial House, around the corner from the Neverland Club.

Thanks so much guys! I'm so happy to hear that I don't have to live with stinky, August clothes for an entire week. :)

Can't wait, five more days until my whole family is at the Poly. Staying CL for the first time. Lagoon view.:woohoo: I am so excited to stay here and maybe meet some of the fellow disers. I can see there are several of us going at this time. I hope everyone has a great fourth and we celebrate like there's no tomorrow!!

We'll be there over the 4th too. I am beside myself with excitement. My DD10 and I have been singing Disney songs all day while I've been packing. My DH keeps singing Zipedeedodah...it's his code word for "Disney Fantasy".:rotfl2: Let the Magic begin!

so you can open the door for fresh air? Does anyone have any pics of these? I just want to be able to open the door and get fresh air in case I dont get a room with a balcony.
:thumbsup2

here is a pic for you!! This is the second floor in Fiji facing the GCH. It is a fully functioning sliding door, so i can be opened! Enjoy your trip!

Basically, it's just like if you had a balcony to walk out onto, only you don't. The sliding glass door is the same as if you had a balcony, only the railing is right outside the sliding glass door. Does that make sense?

What is this room consisdered? Is it concierge or a water view? Please tell me it's a garden view, I want a window like this if we don't get a balcony.

I don't think it has anything to with a certain view. If i remember correctly, the older longhouse, just don't have patios on the 2nd and 3rd floors. I think that that is the only reason some have them and others don't. So if you really wanted this, just request on older longhouse like Fiji, which is where my pic (3 post above) is from

These are usually 2nd floor rooms in most of the buildings, and have nothing to do with the room category. If you don't get a balcony or patio room (same sliding door, only you walk out onto a patio outside your first floor room), you'll have the kind I was talking about.

Does that make sense?

That was just what I needed to see...thanks spaceace! Its seems like that would be great, either way. I will take that or a balcony......im not going to be picky over the room now that I know what it is.

Thanks so much!!! 3 days to goooooooooooooo!:woohoo:

I am apprehnsive about staying at the Poly, and Im not sure why! :confused3 I love LOVE the GF, and my DH wanted to stay at the Poly for a change, so that is what I booked. I guess because I just dont know what to expect, I have heard tons of great reviews, and some negative. But I know no matter where you stay in the world, you cant please everyone and there will be good/bad reviews no matter what, so I dont know why Im stressing over staying here! :guilty:

Im sure it is as beautiful as the pics I have seen and all the great things I have read on this thread, so I just need to chill out and finish planning! :)
Oh, but I am looking forward to breakfast at Kona for the Tonga Toast!:dance3:

HAVE A GREAT TRIP!!!!

Hello All!!!

I have enjoyed reading all the posts and information regarding the Poly. I tell you, I have had a hard time deciding on a resort for our stay this September for the free dining promotion.

First, I booked the WL, then I decide I wanted to stay at Poly, then I changed to Beach Club villas, then last week, after the free dining promotion was closed, I decide that I really wanted to stay on the monorail, and we wouldn't use the pool at the BC that much anyway.

So, I made a call to WDW, and they told me the free dining promotion was closed and no changes could be made. Well, I had read on the disboards, that yes, it could be changed, if you already had a free dining room reserved, that you could change rooms, and resorts if they were available by having the CM contact guest services. So, I told the CM this and she called Guest Services and she came back on the line and told me she had a room at the Contemporary and one at the Poly, both garden views. THANKS TO DISBOARDS!!!! YAHOO!!!

I wanted the POLY, OF COURSE!! So, here I am, and now I need a few questions answered by all of you fellow Poly folks:

1. Can I buy Silk vanilla soymilk in the snack shop at the POLY? It's the only milk that DS1 drinks.

2. How big are the refillable mugs? Do they fit in a stroller cup holder, you know like a 20 oz plastic Coke bottle or are they the real "fat ones"?

3. I did see pics of the cribs that are available at the POLY. We lasted stayed at the CBR, and it was a pack-n-play type, but at the Poly it looks like a real metal crib? Is it a full size or portable crib size? Do we needs sheets and bumpers, or do they have those too?

4. How many hours before your flight does DME pick you up?

5. Can you buy Gain laundry detergent for the on-site laundry?

6. Do they offer laundry services?

Thanks to you all!!! Please forgive if the questions have been asked on previous pages. It's real hard to retain all that information when you are new to the thread.

I am so glad that so many of you are going before me, so I can read all of your posts and reviews.

i was hoping someone here can answer this are pool noodles aloud at the poly pool. and do they sell them or am i going to have to bring my own. my mom needs some kind of float device to swim.

The only question I can answer is yes, they do have laundry service. It is very expensive though. Not 100% sure, but I think Seaspray posted the prices here on this thread...maybe you could check back from the last month or so.

Congrats on getting into the Poly!! We love it there...just hard waiting til Sept to go!!!

I'm sorry -these are a bunch of questions I just don't know the answers too!!! Even the pool noodles ( I just can't remember!!) and the bedrails (we brought our own). I'm sorry!
