WILD AND WACKY WL WEATHERMAN
Thursday : A mix of clouds and sun. High around 85F. Winds SE at 10 to 20 mph.

Thursday night : Mostly clear. Low near 65F. Winds ESE at 10 to 20 mph.

Friday : A few passing clouds, otherwise generally sunny. High 86F. Winds ESE at 10 to 15 mph.

Friday night : Mostly clear. Low around 65F. Winds ESE at 10 to 20 mph.

Saturday (24 hours) : Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 80s and lows in the low 60s.

Sunday (24 hours) : Sunshine. Highs in the mid 80s and lows in the upper 60s.

Hi gang!

I am about to call to apply a payment to our reservation.I wanted to change my room request section, because originally I had requested north wing 4th or 5th floor for our bunkbed(request) courtyard room.

However, I want to simply request inner courtyard, (I think) thinking that will improve our chances of a bunk room.That is MOST important to my children.

But before I do that- I know that the rooms facing the villas on the south wing are also considered courtyard. Can anyone tell me exactly what these views are? If you have stayed in one of these rooms and have some pictures of your views, I would love to see them.
Is it posssible to have to have a view of the lake with a villas side room?

Click the link in my signature and go to my photo gallery. It contains and area with balcony views. There are some that show the villas and quiet pool view. I know one of my own pics are there from when we were there in 2000.

Hmmmm, thanks Fred ! That did help. I had forgotten about your photo page.

I think that helps me decide to request inner courtyard.I don't think I would be too happy if my courtyard room was a view of the the villa's red roofs, like the photos
from rooms 7196 & 7116

Just spoke with Fred, We are going to try and meet up at the Lodge sometime between May 21-May 23. May 22 Saturday may be to busy for him but he is checking I will be arriving Friday late afternoon May 21, I am flexible Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will be OK with me.

dizneykid, that would be great if you could come over, Tinkerbelle739 how about you? I believe Floridafam will also be at the Lodge.

I would also like to invite the Wild Wacky Wonderful WL Weatherman to join us...Lunch or Dinner would be on me Roy....

I would also love for everyone of you to join us...

I'll be at WL the same time...keep us updated as to time and place to meet. My schedule is going to be fairly hectic and I'll be a bit spazzed out with the race that Sunday, but it would be fun to say hi to you all!

We arrive at the Lodge on May 21. We're just going to be taking it easy and DH is going to be going back and forth between WL and FW for his race.

May 22 we are going to MK in the morning through lunch, at least.

May 23 is his triathlon and that evening is booked for something very special.

Keep me posted. We are usually around the resort a lot.



I heard more Wilderness Lodge music on XM Radio today. Station 24. I can't tell you how much that puts me in the mood for Disney.

Yes, so will DH. I'm warning you all now. He gets really grumpy before a race-I don't know if it's nerves or what. So, any meet will probably be without him.

What time does the Territory Lounge open? We could get some munchies or something and meet there.

Hi everyone! We are staying at WL for the frist time ever in 2 weeks. I know the rooms are small compared to other deluxe resorts. Any idea where a portable crib would fit COMFORTABLY in the room?

While it's true the newer Resorts don't have the same sq. ft. as the older Resorts have with 340 sq.ft at Wilderness lodge you will still have plenty of room for a pack & play crib in the room.

I hope I'll be more relaxed about the WDW race after getting St. Croix out of the way...we leave in less than a week!! OMG!! I keep going back and forth between "training is going well" and "I'm not ready!"
And of course, we are supposed to have a weekend of thunderstorms when I need to get one more hill workout in on the bike. Oh well...not much to do at this point. Glad the Florida course is mostly flat!

On our last visit to WL, we needed a crib...so we requested a Queen/bunks. That gave us more walking space. Even with 2 queens, you will be okay though!!

I have tried to come up with several options for our meet :

May 21, 2004 Friday @ 5:00pm-7:00pm

May 22, 2004 Saturday @ 3:00pm-5:00pm

Fred, what about your schedule...What time will you be leaving Sunday? Would you have time for a meet ?
