Have fun, for those that are going to be at the Lodge soon. Take lots of pics and have fun.
don't forget to have a :mickeybar

Another question for all you experts.
I thought I saw somewhere that you can have 5 in a hotel room, if you have a child under the age of 3 and can sleep in a pack n go. Is this right.

Thanks in Advance

Yup! Any child under 3 is not "counted" for any of the Disney resorts. You are "allowed" 4 people & 1 child under 3 per room.

Our last stay at WL were were 4 Plus DD infant! We purposely requested queen w/ bunks to give us a little more walking room with the Pack N Play set up! It worked out great!

Thanks

That is what I thought, but our Travel Agent told us that she was told that Disney would not allow 5 in the room, even if the 5th was an infant.

So I pressed the issue a little more and what do you know, you guys are right. She keeps saying that she has never been able to book 5 in a room, at 'any wdw resort', and she is deemed a Disney expert travel agent. Go figure.

Anyhow I glad we can ask a friend to join us, I hope after all this she says she will

Thanks agian

Awwww man !!!
BABYBUNRAB & ADISNEYGIRL are at WDW RIGHT NOW!!!
I'm so jealous:headache:

I do hope they have wonderful weather and magical vacations though!!

All my planning is finished, and time seems to be moving so slowly. I think I will go look over the itinerary again and print out my PS's.
Oh, I have to call and add a dinner at Kona Cafe too! I almost forgot about that.

That is pecisely why we keep the thread going! Us WL Vets are the ones that often stay at the resort and constantly find out new tips and info changes!

I've sooooo enjoyed reading this board and all the wonderful facts about the WL. We've stayed there twice, both with courtyard - queen/bunks rooms. We are planning to return next June. On our first trip we had what we think was the most heavenly view. It was in the north wing and the end of the first hallway. Our room/balcony was almost directly over the falls. It was very peaceful and serene to open the balcony doors and hear the rushing water. It was a very quiet room. When standing on the balcony, if we turned to the left, we had a perfect view of the EWP. I believe we were on the 5th floor. Does anyone happen to know the room number????? Many of the pics. I've come across have a close view, but not quite on the money. If not, any suggestions how I would appropriately describe this location with the best shot of being where I want to be.

Another question....Is there any significant difference in the crowds or temperature between the 3rd and the 4th week of June, or do things really begin to heat up after July 4?

Thanks a bunch and I'm thrilled I can finally post here after changing my e-mail to a Yahoo address. That is the only thing that works!

Welcome to the boards CuteAsMinnie!

On our last trip, we had room 6049 which was a courtyard view room that had 1 queen and bunks! It was the last room down the first corridor on the North side! After my room was a window that looks down into Artist Point! Then you turn the corridor and continue to the next long hallway! Perhaps the room you had was just below us? 5049?

My family is staying at WL on the concierge level August 17 - 21st. We have been to WL twice before and loved it. I got a good AP rate so I decided to splurge a little.

Are there any favorite rooms? Do you have any suggestions?

Jeff

Hellloooooo WLers! Hope you all are doing well! I also hope that babybunrab (Sarah) and Adisneygirl are having a fantastic time!

:wave2:

aesalsa,
I'm sure they are having a great time...(just wish I was also there)

HundredAcreWoods,
I have only stayed once at Concierge Level (loved it) we where given a room overlooking the delivery area for the resort, but it had a wonderful view of the CR /Monorail, the castle and great view of WISHES everynight.

Funny note: I asked my 11 year old nephew aka/The Chick Magnet if there was anything special he would like to do on our upcomming trip, he thought for a minute then said "Yes, I would like to stay on the 7th floor at the Lodge this trip." We have three rooms reserved, that would be way over budget but I might try and get that CL for him.

He is doing pretty well right now and finally able to eat and getting some strength back. Debra says he is receiving some Radiation now strictly for pain management. He seems happy with his new dr's in Bradenton and they are hopeful that they will be able to extend his time he has left with his family. Dianne's computer has not been working recently, but they hope to have it up and running soon and we may be able to hear from Roy himself!:)

I have continued to let Debra know that we are all praying for him and keeping him in our thoughts.

Hey Everyone!
I'm trying to make it through the whole post! You guys are great and it really makes us only want to stay at the Lodge! We are planning our first trip to WDW. We are hoping to go at Christmas (the week before 18th - 23rd). I was planning to book right away but of course those unforseen circumstances always seem to show up! Now it may be a few more weeks before we will know 100% for sure that we can go at all. So naturally I'm freaking just a wee bit that we will be unable to get in at Christmas. Has anyone ever had this happen? Be assured as soon as I hear the word go I'm booking. We may be able to be slightly flexable on the days, so I'm hoping that is a plus. I need some Pixie Dust to keep my spirts high!

Thanks PamS
