Aloha from the poly!!!! It has finally warmed up and the kids are enjoying the pool while I am enjoying a lapu lapu!! lol

FYI. We DID NOT do online check in and we got our room request. Samoa, facing the volcano pool. Heaven!!!!!

I just took my turkey head to staples to get lamanated (sp?!?) and my silly old self didn't cut the Mickey our first. So now I have a huge 8x11 piece of paper with the Mickey in the middle. Whoops! I am going to try and cut it out and put a little tape on the edge. Duhh!!

I will print, cut out and use my clear contact paper to laminate it! Do you think that will be good enough? Is the laminating job better at the office supply store? What else? Magnets? I need to get some print-on magnet paper. I forgot to look for it.

I think I'm crazy. I finally got everything ready to go. Medicine labeled for each day. Camera cables, phone chargers, etc. labeled. Everything on the checklist is done. Park itineraries ready to go. I swear, it has taken me longer to prepare for this trip than the 9 nights we are going to be there.

I can't believe this time on Friday we'll be at Bay Lake Tower.

I'm so jealous! I hope its warm enough for the pool when we're there. I'd love to pool hop over to the Poly, but pool hopping for DVC ends early in the week because of Thanksgiving vacation. I think we only have through Sunday or Monday. I want a Lapu Lapu..(don't know what it is, but sounds like a good tropical drink). is it as good as a Yak Attack? Yummy drink..

Just wanted to say that I use to go crazy watching all the weather channels...I have found that Accuweather, is really the most..well,...Accurate!! LOL...really...it's the closest to being dead on for me the last 3 or 4 times we have went! Hope this helps..of course, for those of you leaving after I get back...just wait till a little closer...it WILL change again!!

I was just going through my camera memory cards to upload pics to my laptop so that I can delete them to have lots of room for new pics, and I found all our pics from last years trip! It was fun to look through them, but kind of hard to delete (even though they are on my laptop, at snapfish and artscow and on a back up hard drive- you just never know).
I was reading my Celebration magazine and there was an article about the busy holidays and it said that the parks often reach capacity and close. We are going to HS on Thanksgiving, but leaving to walk over to the Yacht Club for dinner and then hoping to return for the lights and now I'm nervous we may not be able to get back in!

A Week From Today!!!

I got a good amount done yesterday, not as much as I wanted, but today is another day. First though I have to take my car in this morning. Monday it hesitiated when I started it. Didn't do it again all day so I didn't worry. Well it did it again yesterday morning, so since we are driving it to Disney I have to be sure it is OK, so that is this morning. Just put $800+ into it last month, hope it isn't anything too bad.

Everyone heading down today or just there, have FUN!!!

I don't know what to do with myself. I want to finish packing but all that's left is clothing and I don't want to do that until Saturday. We have to bring our dog to the kennel late Saturday afternoon. The house is pretty clean, just don't want to do bathrooms until Saturday morning. I can print our boarding passes at 8 a.m. Saturday morning. So...I'm kind of on hold til the weekend. ACK! I just want to GO now!

We got our flu shots 2 weeks ago; had a birthday party for DH last Saturday; colored my hair on Monday; re-did luggage tags yesterday. I think I'm inventing busy work now, just to get the time to pass more quickly. DH had a cold last week so I slept in a different bedroom and washed my hands constantly!
