I am 100% done messing with my schedule, I went over it today and cancelled the couple of ressies I won't be using with switching my last two days around. Both TP and easywdw had Friday as the better day for MK and Sat better for DAK (which I might not go to anyhow) and since Fri will be half-day MK and half day DTD it is no biggie that it closes on Fri at 7pm for MVMCP

I missed MK last trip but will make up for it this trip with the MVMCP on Monday and then a half day on Friday

I am actually Happy now with my plans for the week

Congrats! You are doing much better than me, as I have not made anything official yet as far as our plans go, other than 4 meal reservations. Guess I better get busy huh Expecially now that my counter is showing a one!

I know the feeling! Other than complaining about CRT, my DH and DSs could care less at this point about the details. Of course, once we get there, they want it all to go smoothly. Wonder how that happens? LOL!!

Isn't that the truth?! My hubby does the same thing. I will usually get the half way listening thing going on, but overall I think it goes in one ear and out the other most of the time! If only these fellas really knew what we put into to making these trips go smoothly!

The one he likes best is Undercover Tourist iLite (that is the free version).
It has it seperated by parks, you can check ride wait times, menus for the restaurants, it even tells you table or quick service if you're unsure.

Question...Anything big going on the 2nd week of November?

I do know that veteran's day is later in the week.

The reason I ask is because we are thinking of leaving a day early and staying at another resort the night before we head to WL. We dont want tickets, just a room. Most of what we looked at wasn't available or the only thing available were suites or preferred rooms like club level.

I'm not really worried about it because we wil have a great time regardless but didn't know if I should expect bigger crowds then I had thought before???

We are soooooo ready!

I think there is some PGA thing going on at one of the golf courses, but I'm not completely sure. We have been during Veterans' Day week before and the crowd levels were not bad at all. Of course there was no free dining back in 07 so it could be you are not finding a regular room due to that.

I saw it mentioned by someone on another thread about the Childrens Miracle Network PGA Tournament, I think she said it is like 55 families plus officials or something. That would account for a large number of room beening taken.


I saw pics from a TR last year and the crowds were low for Veterns Day so hope it holds true for this year too.

Fd starts on Fri the 12th at the end of my week

You know what someone said to me!! They said "didn't you just GO to Disney World".... "Don't you get tired of going to the same place over and over?" Are you kidding me!! If Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa was a condo, I'd have bought one.... and moved right on in!!! I keep telling my DH when we retire we're spending 1/2 the year at WDW... at least... and he can pilot one of the water taxis (he's good with boats) and I can work in Liberty Square at the Hall of Presidents gift shop!! Actually, my dream job would probably be selling DVC memberships!! I used to be a Realtor many many many years ago.

When anyone says that to me I just tell them it's what WE enjoy doing! A lot of people go to the beach year after year or the Mts. or wherever. It's really no difference for those of us that ENJOY going to Disney each year. It can be a little annoying though sometimes!

Really!! When I was growing up we had a beach condo. Every single year when school got out to the day before school started we were there. Yet nobody questioned why we did that?! Before my parents bought the condo, our family summer vacation was the beach (which is obviously why they bought the condo), after they sold the condo after we were adults, we still came back to the beach for a week or two each year with our own kids. Then one day we said.... "let's do something different!".... and we haven't looked back!

Sometimes we miss the beach, and we'll go back soon. I think my youngest barely recalls the concept of being all sandy and sticky and wind whipped!

Hi! I hope you all had a fabulous Labor Day weekend! I'm still here at the beach for a few more days, completely loving the lack of crowds and traffic and empty beach. I've been so immersed in the holiday weekend that I completely forgot about my countdown! But, since I'm here alone for the next couple of days, all the company having left last night, I worked on my tentative daily park plans this morning. Next week I'll be more focused on getting this WDW party started!

Mom starts radiation tomorrow, I'm trying not to worry too much at this point.
