Shelly- That is so awesoame that you added an extra day!
I am in the midst of making some changes. My in laws and SIL and family are probably coming for 4 nights now (at the end of our stay). They are staying at the Swan or Dolphin and want us to join them a couple of nights (my FIL is paying). So now i'm thinking of making 5 nights at SSR into a one bedroom instead of a studio and then spending the last 3 nights with them.
I think they will also kick in towards our AP's because they are paying for 5 day passes for Dh's sister and family. Now if they would just make a final decision before everything is booked!

That is awesome! I want to try the Swan/Dolphin maybe next time. Now that I can get the teacher discount there it makes them more affordable!

I'm toying w/ arriving a day early if that will help, it'll just be a juggle w/ my DVC points and where we stay.

We did that last year. We saved enough on the flights to pay for an extra night and 1 day car rental! We didn't really save much $, but for the same $ we got to start our vacation a day sooner! Unfortunately, we couldn't get our resort for another day... So, we rented a car (one way), and spent one night at the Nick Hotel. We surprised our kids - told them that Magical Express was booked, so we were going to rent a car and spend one night in any hotel we could find. The boys started cheering when we pulled in to the Nick!! We had SOOOOO much fun!!! Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Duuuuuude! If I could get flights like that, I may never EVER be home! Well, I'm beginning to hate flying because the TSA looooves me for some reason. But I'll cope if my desination is WDW! I'm just hoping to find a flight for around $200 each. Sadly for the airlines but great for us for now, that's the same fare I've been paying for oh, 15 years. Not sure when you are flying but I noticed a banner on Jet Blue site this am about flights as low as $39 so I just went back to check and this came up when I clicked JFK to Orlando

You got a great deal and better you got what you did than paying far more. Don't go and look again you hear me?!?!?! Once you get your fares, STOP LOOKING! wagging finger. Just think, the people sitting all around you most likely payed far more.
I'm sitting here still waiting to buy. For me, it's the difference betwen buying now at over $1500 or maybe getting them or around 1K. 5 full fares from MN.

My DS18 is also interested in the College Program. What school and year is your daughter in? I heard you had to at least be a sophomore. DS is majoring in mechanical engineering. If he could get in with Imagineering... it would be awesome... but he knows they put you where you are needed. He'd do well. He's a good worker.

My DD is graduating in May... but she has only been in college for 3 years ... she is finishing her BS in 3 years... she works very hard, goes to school year round... she is a Psychology major with a Criminal Justice minor. She is very excited about the program... her school offers 12 upper division credits for the College Program... but not all schools do...it does require that we pay them tuition while she is in Disney but its worth it... I know that there is a community college here in NY where you can go thru and you can be a freshman... not sure if you get credits or not though

Since I saved money on our flight, I think we are going in January for my birthday!!! Super quick trip probably only 3 days, but I have never been to WDW 2 times in just a few months. Well, not even two times in a year. Now, I have to check annual pass rates & benefits

We're heading down 11/12-11/17! We're staying *home* at OKW! This trip marks the change of my very first attempts at trip reports from 8 parks in 9 months to 8 (possibly more if we hit a water park) in 5 months!
