KSBelle and Karen- Thanks so much for the info on the transfer sheets, I'm going to check that out next.
We are actually driving down in Nov. because airfare Thanksgiving week is crazy! It takes us about 14 hrs. We usually leave at around 3 in the afternoon and drive through the night. Much easier on the way down being so excited!
I am trying to get airfare for our short mom and dad only trip in Jan and that still isn't where I want to be- I usually get a pretty good rate in the middle of the summer.

For us with stops it's anywhere from 9-10 hours. I'm hoping to cut some of that time off this time around!

Wow I'm glad I didn't wait on SW for my flights. They range from $137-$150 each way. A few years ago I could get them with SW for an average of $69 each way. I'm glad I grabbed the $79 flights with AT.

I hear you, I had the option of waiting for SW too, but I went with JB when they first came out in April, while my fairs were not as low as yours I was able to book non-stop RT for $244 pp, just for fun I checked SW today and for almost the same times $311 pp.

We thought about driving this trip but that was short lived - We have driven twice back when we first started going to WDW, it is like a twenty hour drive for us and we stopped staying overnight in NC both times a midway point .......it just takes too long to drive down

Well we are booked on the autotrain so I haven't had to look into flights at all..but we may be changing our mind...with our daughter in the hospital for a week, between me missing a week of work (I don't get paid when I don't work bc I am per diem) and the copays for the hospital etc...we are thinking about cancelling the autotrain which was 900$r/t and using miles for flights...we have enough usair and delta miles for all of us roundtrip...we'll see.

Good luck to those of you looking for SW flights.

I can sympathise with you, those copays are killers,they add up fast..... my primary physican just sent me to a specialist after my most recent blood work, he is sending me for an ultrasound plus he sent me for additional blood work today too

Oh yes! I have a TON already in the planning! We actually just did some more mickeyhead tie dye the other day as well. We love doing these and have made more each trip!

I think it's ok for US to post Amy's site b/c we aren't her, I usually just tell people to go to Amymickey.com to get their transfers, they work SO well and last forever, I'm still washing and wearing my shirts from last year!

I haven't ever done tie dye but have new shirts in the works for MNSSHP and MVMCP.

Disney Mommy 3- If you go to the Creative DISigns thread you will find a thread for beginners. No special iron is needed- you just have to be sure that all water is out of your steam iron. Good Luck but be careful--once you do one you will be addicted!!

So now we're looking at Air Tran or Jet Blue, but these are out of Boston, which is nowhere near as convenient for us as Providence.

PVD is so much more convient... especially since I live 10 minutes away.

Well we are no longer going in Nov We had 5 Rapid Rewards to use for our trip in November, but they only had 4 seats available for our flight down and none for our return flight. This is the second time I have been burned with SW and these free tickets.

However I was able to get all 5 tickets for 12/10 (Fri) - 12/14 (Tue) I would have preferred November, but at least there is still a MVMCP while we are there and we do get to see the Giant Gingerbread Houses.

Not sure. I used the directions to post from Photobucket. Super easy & I stink at computer stuff. Not sure where I found them I try to see if I can find them again.

I was going to ask you all how long the drives were for those of you who opt to fly...for us it's a solid 16hours..... my hubby spends lots of time driving for our business and he doesnt like to drive more than he has to on time off....besides...that would shave at least 4 days off our vacation time....plus 2 extra hotel nights, and at least 6 meals on the road....if we have some whopping RV I might consider it...but not without it!!!
