You will likely be able to visit the water parks. We were there Nov 7-15 last year and it was warm. We went swimming 3 times. The temps most days were around 80. Very nice. We only had rain one evening. Crowds were low. You'll want to mostly pack summer clothes, but throw in a pair of pants/jeans just in-case, and a light jacket for the evenings.

Hope that helps! :goodvibes

Gosh, I thought that summer meant you were suppose to somewhat slow down and get a bit of a life.... not in my household apparently. We haven't stopped! I need a break!

I have missed 2 QOTD....

1) Guide Books
I honestly have never even picked up a guide book. My first trip to WDW was when I was 6 weeks old. We have went so much that I am like my own personal guide book! Even my friends call me that. That or a Disney Encyclopedia. lol

2) Favorite Villain
Jadias, The Ice Queen from Chonicles of Narnia! She is just wicked!

Since we have done favorite Character and favorite Villain, how about we do favorite sidekick!

Todays QOTD: Who is your favorite Disney sidekick?

Mine is Abu!

Well, I have narrowed down my ADR's and need some help to finish. I will be at AKL CL Nov 15-19. Coming in at 12:27pm so figured that I would be at AKL around 2pm. Now where I need help:
I thought I would do Hollywood Studios that afternoon & night but will miss the Wishes & fireworks at Magic Kingdom. Is it something not to miss or should I just wait till the next trip?
On 2nd day we will be at MK with breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table at 9:05am. Will we have to wait till the park opens to get in or can we get in a few min. early?
On 3rd day we will be at Epcot and the schedule looks ok.
On 4th day we are doing Sunrise Safari then free until 4:20pm for dinner at Hollywood & Vine with Fantasmic. thought that would be a good time to AK but we will miss the parade in order to get to HS. I hate missing the parade but the IPO says I can't get a later ressie without giving up Fantasmic. At that time of year would I still get seating with the package?
On 5th day we have a 7:50pm flight home so was wondering what time we have to leave AKL to get to the airport in time? Was thinking of going to different resorts to see different decorations, Grand Floridian then maybe lunch at the Cafe.
Thanks for any info that you can give.
P.S. How do I subscribe to threads?

Ok, I haven't been to Disney since 1998 (we have a dairy farm so hard to get away) and I am amazed as to how many hours it takes to plan 5 days & 4 nights!!!
Ok, here's my question: Is MVMCP really worth the time and money?? Not sure how long my DH can go?

I can try to help you! :)

I think Wishes is a must. Especially is you haven't been to WDW in a long time. I think most people will agree with me on that.

You can get into the park early with an ADR. You just tell the CM's you have a breakfast ADR and they will direct you where to go. Could you see Wishes that night?

I really don't think a Fantasmic package is necessary during this time of year. I'm sure you could get seating without the package.

If you are taking ME, your pick up time will likely be about 3 hours before your flight. If you are driving yourself to the airport, I'd head to the airport about 2-2 1/2 hours prior to your flight.

If you post to a thread you are subscribed to it. You can also click on Thread Tools and then click on subscribe.

I can't tell you if MVMCP is worth it or not. I haven't been to it yet and am debating that same question myself! I probably wouldn't try to squeeze it in there in a 4 night trip though.

Hope all that helps! :goodvibes

I guess I have to call IPO and find out the schedules of MVMCP and Spectromagic so that might be the deciding factor. Some things are going to have to be missed this trip. Good excuse to go back.

Maybe go to AK today (eat a great CS meal at Flame Tree bbq)skip the safari since you will go on one later in the week. At AK see the Nemo or Lion King Show (if you can't fit both in there's always next trip) and ride Kali River Rapids or Everest! and then head over to MK at night. I would not miss Wishes or Spectromagic. It's a must see atleast once every trip

Just have your ADR confirmation # with you and let a CM know that you are there for a reservation.

Spend the whole day at DHS. I have not been in November but have never had a problem getting a seat at Fantasmic even during school break week. So if you want to eat somewhere else do it. H&V not so good. Maybe take the water taxi over to Epcot for something in France, it is very close to the water taxi, then walk or water taxi back over the DHS for Fantasmic. I would skip the AK parade (see it next trip).

On 5th day we have a 7:50pm flight home so was wondering what time we have to leave AKL to get to the airport in time? Was thinking of going to different resorts to see different decorations, Grand Floridian then maybe lunch at the Cafe.

ME picks you up 3hours prior to your departure, Or if you are driving give yourself 2.5hours you may hit rush hour traffic in the late afternoon.

Thanks for any info that you can give.

have fun whatever you decide!

You can see those things on the WDW website. And I think I have the MVMCP dates listed on the front page of this thread!:santa:

thanks for your thoughts. I have decided to make it to Spectomagic/wishes on the 1st day. Thinking I will stay at AK until it's time for this. I think if I have to give up something, I will give up fantasmic dining package instead and that free's up Thursday for MGM and if we want to see fantasmic, can can just see the show (is there a fee for just the show?)I think I can make all the parades now but if not, I think I have time on our last day to fit in what we didn't get to do (that we wanted to see).
THANKS again for all your advice. Never thought that it would be so much work to plan a trip. Sue

I started a PTR months ago , just never actually posted what I wrote on DIS, then just lost interest in it , might have to start it up again not sure yet.

Has anyone ever eaten at the restaurant in Morroco at Epcot? DH mentioned yesterday that He still wants to eat there some year.... yes I have been steering him away from there for many years I just do not feel the menu is for me. I have teased him for years that he just wants to go there to see the belly dancers. :rotfl:

Wow, I go away for the weekend and come back to several pages to read!!

Well, so far I have seen one new QOTD for favorite villian. - For me it would definitely have to be Cruella! :)

Off to catch up now!
