thanks for your thoughts. I have decided to make it to Spectomagic/wishes on the 1st day. Thinking I will stay at AK until it's time for this. I think if I have to give up something, I will give up fantasmic dining package instead and that free's up Thursday for MGM and if we want to see fantasmic, can can just see the show (is there a fee for just the show?)I think I can make all the parades now but if not, I think I have time on our last day to fit in what we didn't get to do (that we wanted to see).
THANKS again for all your advice. Never thought that it would be so much work to plan a trip. Sue

Yes, it's definitely a lot of work, but planning is half the fun!!

I started a PTR months ago , just never actually posted what I wrote on DIS, then just lost interest in it , might have to start it up again not sure yet.

Has anyone ever eaten at the restaurant in Morroco at Epcot? DH mentioned yesterday that He still wants to eat there some year.... yes I have been steering him away from there for many years I just do not feel the menu is for me. I have teased him for years that he just wants to go there to see the belly dancers.

Let us know if you decide to start it!

Nope, never been to that restaurant. We aren't very adventurous eaters!

We will be in WDW November 7 - 14. We are, however, staying offsite at Sheraton Vistana Villages. Mostly because I wanted a 2 bedroom suite and a full kitchen and didn't want to fork over the cashola for that size on Disney property. We are all so excited to go and November can't get here fast enough!

Is anybody here doing a PTR for their November trip?

Yes I am...see the link in my siggie I am ordering a big BLT for Thanksgiving 2010...it's been up for awhile but post 2 has links to all the main posts thus far...love any new readers...please say hi...I'm getting closer to start posting about park plans too

Well, I have narrowed down my ADR's and need some help to finish. I will be at AKL CL Nov 15-19. Coming in at 12:27pm so figured that I would be at AKL around 2pm. Now where I need help:
I thought I would do Hollywood Studios that afternoon & night but will miss the Wishes & fireworks at Magic Kingdom. Is it something not to miss or should I just wait till the next trip?
On 2nd day we will be at MK with breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table at 9:05am. Will we have to wait till the park opens to get in or can we get in a few min. early?
On 3rd day we will be at Epcot and the schedule looks ok.
On 4th day we are doing Sunrise Safari then free until 4:20pm for dinner at Hollywood & Vine with Fantasmic. thought that would be a good time to AK but we will miss the parade in order to get to HS. I hate missing the parade but the IPO says I can't get a later ressie without giving up Fantasmic. At that time of year would I still get seating with the package?
On 5th day we have a 7:50pm flight home so was wondering what time we have to leave AKL to get to the airport in time? Was thinking of going to different resorts to see different decorations, Grand Floridian then maybe lunch at the Cafe.

Hi Farmersue to the boards and I just love your Disname....

I think most of your questions have been answered and I see you have already made some changes....so glad you will work in Wishes and let's hope Spectro...it is currently gone till mid August for the MSEP and to the best of my knowledge not confirmed yet to return...but IMHO no Disney trip is complete w/out it!

couple things to keep in mind though for the evening MK parade and fireworks...generally Spectro is always first and Wishes is at park closing...unless they add a 2nd spectro...

best viewing spots for Spectro can be found at the end of the parade route in Liberty Square and Fronteirland...but where ever you sit you need to be in a spot to claim a good one 50 to 60 minutes ahead...if you sit in LS or FL you will need to move then to see Wishes if you want to see it in front of the Castle which I highly recommend and for a very special surprise guest to start the show

Plan accordingly when you leave AK since you will have to return to a resort then hop another bus to MK...I suggest taking any monorail resort bus (CR, Poly or GF) then just get on the monorail and you are in...always allow 30 minutes plus for the buses...

no fees for seeing any of the shows in the parks....

just arrive 1 hr ahead of time to stake out a good spot...buy a dessert or snacks and bring a book or card game to help pass the time...it is worth the wait!

One last magical tidbit...for your CRT ADR since you need to arrive at least 15 minutes ahead...try to make it to MK w/ enough extra time to allow a couple quick PhotoPass (Disney photographer) pictures to be taken on a nearly empty Main Street...no cost yet again to get the pictures just to buy a print

Boy, this is a busy thread! A quick update...dh and I are now arriving on 11/20, so I'm adding a day. We are actually flying to Tampa to look at motor homes and then driving to DW. This way we don't lose a day because everyone is now coming in on Sunday. I swear the plans change daily.
Ok, here is my question. Has anyone seen anything about Thanksgiving Day plans at the various restaurants? I have reservations already but I know years ago, the Yacht Club had a buffet dinner in a ball room. It was great and everyone enjoyed it. I know that the restaurants all (or majority) offer traditional meal.
I suppose I am rushing the season but when you have to make reservations so far in advance, you want to be sure it is exactly what you want. And of course, I want everything "perfect"...

I haven't seen anything other than 2009 information on allears.net.

We're going to Ohana for our Thanksgiving dinner then watch the Electrical Water parade and Wishes from the beach.

Checking in after another long beach weekend. I think there were 5 pages to catch up on!
My favorite sidekick is Jiminy Cricket and my favorite villan is Captain Hook.
We had a Pirate Party on a local beach (everyone brings their boats out and decorates and dresses up). It was so much fun and we won Best Pirate Boat, which was very cool. Some of the guys were dressed in full pirate garb and it was about 100 degrees!

You will likely be able to visit the water parks. We were there Nov 7-15 last year and it was warm. We went swimming 3 times. The temps most days were around 80. Very nice. We only had rain one evening. Crowds were low. You'll want to mostly pack summer clothes, but throw in a pair of pants/jeans just in-case, and a light jacket for the evenings.

I started a PTR months ago , just never actually posted what I wrote on DIS, then just lost interest in it , might have to start it up again not sure yet.

Has anyone ever eaten at the restaurant in Morroco at Epcot? DH mentioned yesterday that He still wants to eat there some year.... yes I have been steering him away from there for many years I just do not feel the menu is for me. I have teased him for years that he just wants to go there to see the belly dancers.

My DH and I ate there our first trip and had a great time! (Yes he did like the Belly dancer) We really liked the place, felt like a different culture. We enjoyed the food and I am not a very adventureous eater. My SisIL and BIL just went and said they had a great time. He travels all over the world, and still liked it. (I think they liked France better).

I am semi-adventurous when it comes to trying new foods, so I am on the fence but since DH expressed his desire to eat there again maybe I will check and see what they have available for late the night we are staying at Epcot for EMH that is about the only time I can fit it in this trip cause I am not giving up Biergarten(DH loves it too) and everyone wants to try Le Cellier this trip.
