Hey All!
Mind if I pose a QOTD?
Do you have a favorite photo spot?
I will also go ahead and answer my own question and say that I have 2 (I think I've got them every year we've gone and it's so cool to see how much they change). One is on Pooh's Log (now at DTD) and the other is in Mexico wearing big sombreros (we always get the kids and then all of us- fun one!)

All done making our ADRs! So easy doing it online:

Sci-Fi (dinner)
Biergarten (lunch)
1900 Park Fare (breakfast)
Rose & Crown (dinner)
Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner)

Whew! Glad that's done.

Looks good, congrats!

Thank you so much!! That was just the encouragement we needed!

I agree..it's amazing how close you all become when you are together...sure we have days where we need our space & quiet time, but I wouldn't trade this life for anything!!! I think it's a wonderful option for you! If you want to pm me, I will give you some great titles to get you started...and we have a Homeschool Thread on the Disboards! It is long tho...you might need to just go back a few pages instead of trying to process the whole thing!!Plus you can keep going to Disney in November!!!! Hee hee!!!

Very fun QOTD!! :goodvibes

Hmm. . . It's a tough one though! In front of the castle of course is a tradition. I think the picture spot to the right of the castle is very nice too! DS11 and I love getting our picture in front of RNRC, and he always has to give the "rock on" sign!! :rotfl: The kids do the sombreros at Mexico too!

I take well over 1000 pics each trip, so I have MANY favorite picture spots! ::yes::

Fun QOTD!
My favorite family pic was in front of the fountain near France. Although the funniest one was the one taken near the America area in Epcot overlooking the lake and it looks like the Epcot Ball is sitting on my head! :)

We always tried on the hats too until my youngest ended up getting lice from trying on a hat (or at camp, we arent sure which) so now trying on hats is a big fat NO! Don't want to go through that again! Aaahhhh, I am all ickied out just thinking about it!

Never had a place that we took a pic each trip, just took many all over , wish I had done something like that would have been a nice way to see the changes both in Disney and our family

We've only been once (November will be our 2nd trip) so we don't have a spot....YET!

OT: I'm also on TGM and Mike just published his best days charts for the end of November. I am soooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I had a tentative itinerary based on last years charts and I didn't have to change a thing. Woohooo!!!!

I love the pics with the castle, and with the Cinderella fountain, but I also love over at Epcot in the UK...right in front of the little thatched hut...and the flower garden with the little arbor.

Good morning November friends!

I have a QOTD!!

What is your favorite smell at WDW?

I love that fake bakery smell they pipe out onto Main Street! :cloud9: And the oranges on Soarin. :goodvibes

Oh - and that musty water smell on the POTC! :confused3 :rotfl: I know, I'm weird!

My favorite smell is the wafflecone smell (I think coming from Gharadelli's) at DTD! That with the twinkle lights and music at night put me over the top! It's the perfect way to start off our trips!!

:cool1:

first ever holiday me and my partner and our 2 kids aged 1 an a half and 3 years old

5 months 2 weeks and 6 days until our first Disney holiday ever

Homeschooling changed our lives and family. It's hard to describe what spending all day together does, but I have never looked back! I think they have MORE social activities than kids that go to school. We have a homeschool group that we have weekly playgroups, field trips, & parties with, my dd has sleepovers any night of the week, and a large circle of very good friends that she spends time with. My boys take lessons and we also have a homeschool co-op in the fall and winter where they take classes (with us parents teaching) once a week! We love it! My suggestion is to read everything you can on homeschooling! :goodvibes

TOTALLY agree with this. Make homeschooling work for YOU. We have never done anything else, so we didn't have to contend with the "that's not how we did it in school" stuff. We are very eclectic homeschoolers and we do NOT use a 'schedule' for our work. There are SO many different ways to teach at home. Don't limit yourself by thinking that you have to "do school at home ..."

And ... find a homeschool group in your area!!!!!!!

I love taking pictures of the castle near the bathrooms between Main Street and Tomorrowland. It's a gorgeous shot, and there are rarely any people in the way.

Our family is soooooo close because we homeschool. My KIDS are soooooo close because we homeschool. It's what we do, and I have never regretted it.

Really tough one for this ole gal since I have a sinis problem and don't smell well, I can not think of any one smell that sticks out other than when I pass the popcorn vender on Main St getting a wiff and wanting some. :)

This probably sounds so odd, but I love the smell inside of the BBB...I don't know what it is, but my girls' hair always smells so good after leaving there!

Addictive Hairspray!! LOL!! I will have to check that out!! I don't know that I have a favorite...several times my middle one will say..."MMMmmmmm I smell Disney"!!!!! And I never know what he is talking about...it is at all different kinds of places, only thing I can figure is the Main Street smell or maybe when you go in the shops and all the merchandise has that new smell.....but whatever it is, he knows and he just stops-DEAD STILL...and inhales it....everytime!!:rotfl:

A lil behind the times, but my favorite spot is the fountain in Italy. Hubby took a pic of me on our honeymoon there 14 years ago and every trip I try to get a new one.

Thank you!! I think it will be interesting as well. (Our two youngest are even expressing interest in it.) My hubby will be the one taking on the task (his been a stay at home dad for almost 9 years now as I can make more $) so any advice you can share for him would be great! :teacher:

Wow thats a toughy. I'm with you on the bakery smell on Main Street and I would have to say my other favorite would be all the scents they send in while on Soarin. It is just neat to feel like you are really flying along and smelling all the different stuff.
