Just train to run a miniumu 15 minute mile and you will be fine. Pick a training plan and stick with it....you can do it

I think I've been doing good but it's kind of intimidating lol and overwhelming feeling once I hit that register button. Right now walking at a fast pace pushing a stroller I can do 7miles 1:45

I'm a newbie here and wanted to drop in and say hi The Princess will be my first half marathon and I'm really looking forward to it.

We're trying to figure out whether to stay on or off the WDW property. Does anyone know if any of the off property hotels (Hilton Orlando at Lake Buena Vista, Marriott Village, Holiday Inn at WDW) offered a shuttle to the start line this past year?

Hi there! I didn't run the half last year, but know that Hilton Bonnet Creek had race packages and transportation. (They were sold out by the time I tried to book.) Go to Specials & Packages on the top left, then click on Marathon Fit. Only TOT and WDW Marathon packages are listed now, but that's where to look for future Princess info.

I am planning on doing this 1/2 marathon, but my friends are piddling around. I saw that the Tinkerbell is now sold out and I'm worried about this selling out as well. I thought it sold out very close the to the race last year. Does anyone remember for sure? Has selling out for the PHM happened before?

The DL races both seem to sell out within weeks- I guess they only have 2 shots and a lot of locals, so people jump on those races pretty quickly.

OK I had huge plans for Princess 2013 to be my first half and it looks like it will have to wait til 2014. I am happy to say I am 8 weeks pregnant!!

I also read that the course is different and it cannot hold as many runners (not sure if that is true)

Definitely take the bus transportation! So much easier!

We just booked our reservation at the Port Orleans French Quarter. Whoop whoop!

We might get an additional guest staying with us to show some support but isn't running the race. Can she still board the buses with us without a hotel id if she isn't on the reservation?

Yep. They don't ID. Anyone can take the bus in the morning or going back after the race.

Yay!! My sister and I registered last night! this is the first race of any kind for both of us!!

One question - I didn't buy the pin or necklace because I didn't see a picture & the description wasn't much..........has anyone bought these before & remember what they look like...or have a pic to post?

Actually I have a million other questions but will spread them out later

I ran it this year for the first time and ran alone. This year I'm doing it with a friend. I still had such a blast doing it by myself. No worries. We will all be there too! Where in NJ are you? I'm in Point Pleasant.



I am in Princeton. Not too far from Point Pleasant! =) I asked a few friends to do it with me but they didn't think they could do the full 13.1 miles. Maybe next year?
