Have fun in Boston. I want to visit there someday; it's my dad's favorite city.
Good luck with the new baby!
I'm sorry about your DH's job situation; I hope he is able to find something MUCH better soon. Sure Jean- come on in. The recent topics include: screaming, vomit, ugly clothes, and climbing into dryers naked.![]()
He plays with them, then will taste them a little, but then spits it back out. I don't know what I'm going to do next.
Alex is a very picky eater most days. I offer him whatever I'm eating, and if he doesn't want to eat it, he doesn't have to, but I won't give him anything else.
Bethany - we've gone in and out of phases like that, hopefully Owen's doesn't last long. How fun getting to watch a 2 month old again, that will work as good bc, or make you want another.![]()
I've been between 95-98% sure that we're done with one ever since about the 14th week of pregnancy when I was hurling every couple hours. 22 hours of back labor with an epidural that didn't work reaffirmed that decision
, as did the first 4 months of Owen's life when he would only sleep if he was being held. All that plus our tiny house and being 37 (DH is 42) has equaled feeling pretty good about just having Owen. A couple people have been a little rude about our decision to stop with just Owen, but I've started saying "we figure we got it right the first time, so we don't need to try again" and that usually ends the criticism.

) make sure you are eating protien rich foods. I have started my biggest loser class and it is all about protien. I make sure I get enough protein (about 20-25g per main meal and about 12-15 per each of 2 snacks a day.) I have not been hungry at all and since I started a month ago on the 23rd...I have lost 9lbs (haven't updated my ticker yet...i wait until Thurs when I get weighed in for the official results) and i have been either too tired/lazy or just plain not wanting to workout. So imagine if I would actually work out i could be doing good.
And I don;t know how to explain about facebook. I am just starting to understand it but do not really know how to explain it???
Nothing like office supplies to cheer a girl up.
It's a very fun park, and Owen likes trying to keep up with the bigger kids. I'm packing a complete change of clothes for him, since I know he'll be one big mess after this play time!

I need to head back to work, which is totally depressing because it is GORGEOUS outside! If I could get away with playing hooky, I totally would. But, since I've already been to work this morning, I guess I should go back...
I tried to explain that it was just a bike path and that small crawling boys were not welcome on the bike path, but he wasn't buying it. Fortunately, he was willing to be distracted by the offer of blueberries...
I woke-up to DH holding a puke-covered, screaming Brady. He had called my parents to come and help. They came and took Brady, because we were in no shape to take care of him. It was just AWFUL not being able to take care of your own child.
The good news is that we are all on the mend, although now my parents have it.
I think I've lost at least 5 lbs since it started 24 hours ago. CRAZY! Hey ladies...looks like I have a bunch to read and catch-up on!
We have been soooooooooooooooo sick. DH came home early yesterday from work, throwing-up every 10 min. Then it finally hit me later in the afternoon. Brady was still sick as well....and it all came to a climax last night at 9:30. I had just run to the bathroom to get sick, Brady started throwing-up in his crib, DH ran to get him, and also started getting sick. I attempted to go help, but passed out en-route.I woke-up to DH holding a puke-covered, screaming Brady. He had called my parents to come and help. They came and took Brady, because we were in no shape to take care of him. It was just AWFUL not being able to take care of your own child.
