I was thinking while I was making dinner.....
It is pretty rotten the way LMT is handling this "campaign". Anyone who just happened upon their site this week (mailnly yesterday or today) is at a disadvantage. If they read about the $1 deal, They would not have a clue as to how things are being done. They would probably sign up for the email clues and watch the videos just like most of have done. What if they don't belong to a message board where they can keep up with what is going on. It irritates me that LMT hasn't updated their site.

True. I also wish they would just post a simple little message on the home page saying "The promo is over for today, please check back after midnight" or something to that effect

I'm in NY and this morning people on the east coast got the video between 6-7 . I sat in front of my computer that whole time and never got a video

I saw the video for the first time around 6:30. I woke up and turned the computer on (it needed a break last night) and I went right into LMT and signed in and then went to the hotel page---that is when I noticed the $1 so I clicked it and the video came on...I watched it and then the search page came on with the timer but the timer was already 0:00

I WONDER if you need to sign on at the right time and not be already on.....

You can get what is available when the time starts. You may find something that you like right now but it may not be avaiable for the $1 promo.

They will list the hotels available for the $1 deal. The list may or may not be the same list as what you see right now when you do a search.

I'm looking at Savannah, GA and if I were to do a search right now only 2 4star hotels come up. However, when I saw the videos yesterday and started to try and get the dollar deal only 1 of those hotels was displayed. I was so excited to get that far that I don't even know which hotel it was! Unfortunately, after the next video I ran out of time so I couldn't complete it.

how far can we go into the phantom booking before making a booking. I'm wondering if I want to enter my cc#

There's only two screens that you will need to fill in after you book your $1 room and both of those show if you just want to 'fake" one to get a fill of what to do. I also wanted to make sure I could copy and paste my cc number instead of entering it (since that's what got me out of not getting anything on a previous occasion). It would not let me hit "edit" to paste the cc number on the line, but it did let me right click to paste it.

Try to be quick here, because you will have to watch another video and then 2 questions will pop up with 5 or 6 answers to check. Just check anyone on both questions. Then, the "agreement" pops up and you have to scroll all the way down it, check that you agree to the terms, and then enter those stupid "YH53W9" before you officially have your $1 room.

Hope this helps some when they do get to the "checkout" page!!
