The New,New Hotel Thread-Yes, We're STILL Waiting

Prime example why I live in the South. I don't do single digit temps.

And even low double digits are not my favorite.

I think we were down into the upper 20's last night.

I live in the south, though, and our windchill the last two mornings has been -14. BRRRRRRRRRRR Of course, it IS the mountains. DH has been told, though, that this is as far north and high in elevation that this South Georgia girl goes.

We were in Ohio over the summer. My DD wanted to move there so she could see snow.

We have plenty of it this year. I'd be happy to send you about 1/2 acre at about 16" deep

Oh yeah if you go down this river you will see A LOT of gator all over the place just sunny themselves. Been there done that.

Hi all could sombody please do me a favor. I have been hoping to get this deal for DC in April. oldest dd goes to college there and would love to bring the younger kids to see her in . Anyway while searching I found a 4 star hotel in capital hill I think it may be L'Efante Plaza but I am not sure I went to thier website and rooms are $350plus per night on LMT rooms are about $160 per night if I dont get in on this contest ( which at this point I doubt I will) I will grab the rooms at $160 because that sounds like a great deal, but Im just concerned its not that particular hotel, could somebody with any knowledge of this help me determine if it is Thanks

I have been reading all of your hilarious posts. They're keeping me awake so I can go get DS from school and then come home and crash.

It doesn't look like anyone saw the video today, but you know what??? I was on LMT all day last Friday, Monday and the better part of yesterday and I have never seen the video during the day. It's always after midnight when it has popped up for me. First time I saw it was around 12:30am EST Wednesday morning. I heard the tick tocking and then it gave me the page that said it was timed out. I saw it again around 1:30 am this morning and around 5:30, so maybe you have a better chance if you are a night owl??

BTW, Oprah is a repeat today but it's an awesome show with John Ramsey, Elizabeth Smart and her dad and Shawn Hornbeck and his parents. Of course if we all keep on with this insanity, we'll be on Dr. Phil with him looking at us and saying "Just what were you thinking? A hotel at Disney for a buck a night, it just ain't happenin".

I would be so happy with frost on the grass! I'm just hoping to SEE the grass in the next few months! I am so tired of being cold and snow and slush getting tracked through the house!!
