SeaSpray The WL really doesn't have what you'd consider a lounge. The food is spread out on tables that are located around the balcony. I read on a recent thread that they are supposed to be starting work on an actual lounge. You might want to check and see when it's due to open. That would be nice if it's available during your stay. WL is not called "light" but you'll notice a big difference between there and the Poly's concierge lounge.
Tess I've noticed in reading some trip reports on the cruise boards, how different some peoples perception of the same exact cruise can be. I think that if you're the type of personality that lives by the saying, "if life gives you lemons, you make lemonade", then you'll always experience a good vacation. I'm sure everyone has encountered some challenges, (even at Disney) and it's just how we handle them that will determine the outcome.
Goofy's Muse How goes the high school search? You must be approaching some deadlines. We've just finalized our summer schedule and DS will be skating 5 hours a day, from 7am-noon. Youngest DD is signed up for 4 weeks of summer enrichment. It's sort of like summer school, taught by actual teachers, but they make it alot of fun. Oldest DD still hasn't found a summer job yet. She's so focused on finals now, that it's difficult for her to think of anything else. I'm sure something will fall into place, it usually does.
GoodFerry
we meet again.
Well, I had held onto a glimmer of hope that we'd be able to do a Disney trip again this year, but I've had to let it go. DS announced recently that he'd like to try ice dancing with a friend and they started taking lessons last week.
Debbie that means I'll be spending even more time at the rink. Their short term goal is to skate at a competition in Lake Placid this summer. We'll have to be there for a week and it's not an inexpensive spot. Anyone familiar with that area? It looks beautiful, so we decided to bring the whole family and we'll make it into our summer vacation. Plans are still on for next summer's family reunion, but my sister is driving me crazy. We've gone from driving a camper down, to renting DVC, to the Fort Wilderness cabins and now she's looking into renting a camper and having it set up on the site at FW

. DH's idea of roughing it, is to split our stay between BW concierge and GF concierge. Can't do anything though until she makes up her mind and we can verify dates. Oh family, you gotta love 'em
