Hi, guys... I'm feeling more than a little world-weary tonight. It's been a long week and even longer weekend. Plus I'm not used to queueing up on the take-a-number line to wait for my turn at the family computer!

Was thinking I'd drop in for a nice hot cup of tea and a cozy chair. Better yet, Steffy, squeeze me some of that Bailey's -- just a drop or two will probably put me out for the night at this rate!

Kudos to all of you with enough spirit and humor to buoy the rest of us for a while. Hopefully I'll be able to return the favor sometime...

Oh, you guys! Now I have an image in my head with Steffy's kids all bundled up and not being able to put their arms down with snowsuits and life vests. LOL!!! Oh, boy did I need that chuckle.

Goofy's Muse - Better to take a number to the computer than the bathroom...there were 5 of us girls with only 1 bathroom. **LOL**

Passing up the wine tonight and running down to the bar for a quick white russian. I'm bringing some freshly baked, warm, gooey homemade brownies on my way back from the bar. I'm also bringing the french vanilla ice-cream and hot fudge sauce go on top since there is nothing like a hot fudge cake sundae on a cold evening like tonight. I'm due a double cordial drink tonight so I'm taking a Bailey's on the rocks with my dessert. By the time I'm done with that white russian those dessert portions are going to get big for you folks, so I hope you've left room in your tummies for this.

LOL, VAgal... you must be psychic about the Goofy family's typical morning routine! Unfortunately, we are still "time-slicing" a single bathroom. Really feeling the pinch these days as we've entered the teen years. Maybe that's why I fell so strongly for the Beach Club. Those double sinks OUTSIDE the bathroom were such a luxury!

If I share then I won't be able to eat it all myself. That should make the OBGYN happy when I go back and have not gained too much weight.

Oh my goodness! I forgot to tell you guys our big news from Friday. We found out that we are having a GIRL! Yeah! Everyone in the family is ecstatic.

Sadly, I got word last night that a very dear family friend had passed away from her long struggle with diabetes. I've known them since I was 11 years old. She's going to be sorely missed. I took today off from work to get myself together and had planned to go to the doc since I'm having a few health issues right now. It's all happening at once but that's story of our lives, right? The daughter of this family is need of special prayers. She has taken care of her mother since the day they found out she had diabetes. She has selflessly given herself to be her mother's companion and aide. This is going to be an especially tough for their family especially with the holidays approaching. While she wasn't in the best of health, this did come suddenly.

johnsonet I am so jealous! In my perfect world it would never go below 60, except for one week before Christmas and one week after, when it would snow like the Dickens and stay right around 30. I have yet to find that climatological miracle, but if I do I'll let you all know!

CONGRATULATIONS! desiab on your impending princess. What are we putting in the treats in this lounge? Seems like we are abundant with beautiful new princesses.

After going over the itinerary for Dec. w/DH last night he decided he wants to change his golf date, which changes all of our other AM plans, which changes about half of our PM plans. I think I will call IPO so I can apologize profusely "in person" instead of via e-mail! Finalized the letter IPO will be sending to our nephew. I'm getting so excited about telling him - I think I'm worse about waiting than he will be!

Adding some fresh pineapple and juice to GoofySuse's offerings, and then I'm off to work.

Welcome to all the new faces. We are normally a welcoming and cheery group. We hit a few rough spots over the weekend, so you may see some references to that, but don't fret, looks like our bright disposition is coming through once again.

VAgal - So sorry to hear of your loss. We'll send some P, PD and hugs all around.

We went on an Illuminations Cruise the first week of May. We were cold, very cold. They did have blankets on board that we covered up with. We have one scheduled for December also and I am concernd about the cold.


I just want to put in a good word for the IPO at the WL. Daisy has been wonderful in helping with both our trips, one to the Poly over Halloween weekend and for our upcoming trip to WL. I do have to say that they are not as prompt as the BC/YC/BWI IPO, but if I email and call, they will get back to me.

I know I didn't post much on the previous threads, but it is sad to see everyone's feeling get hurt.

Well, it's cloudy and cold here today but in 18 days, I'M GOING TO DISNEYWORLD! The anniversary plans are still rather fluid but I think that will be ok. It's just the 2 of us and "winging it" might be kind of fun!

VAGal - My condolences.

steveanddonna - Your nephew is going to be so excited and I'm sure all your plans will fall into place. It wouldn't be a trip to Disney without a few changes in the itinerary.

Debbie - I also want to compliment you on your sig. That puppy is adorable - well, the rest are too!

johnsonet - You are too funny. I don't think we will get out of the 30s today! I know - it's all relative. Try to survive that cold front!

GoofySuse - Thanks for the goodies and the fresh air - we needed it!

GoofyJoofy - Glad to see you feeling chipper this morning. Monday mornings here with DD13 i.e. prep time is always a challenge. Add that she's in the big fall production with this being performance week and my bathroom looks like the cosmetics aisle at Target the day after Thanksgiving! Yikes!

Sorry I missed last nighht's festivities - you guys were hilarious! Nothing like a good laugh with good friends. Keep up the good work!
