Well, we rolled out of bed around 9:30. I guess the time change messed us up a little. I usually get up early at home but it just felt so comfy in the bed and nobody else was up so I rolled over and went back to sleep.
By the time we got up, got ready, and had breakfast in the room, it was close to 10:30. By the time we left the room, jumped on the monorail and walked through the front gates, it was after 11am.
Walking through the bag check security area was a joke and angered me. They just glanced in the backpack! There was a bomber on a flight at Christmas time that had sewn a bomb into his underwear! Disney needs to do a better job darn it!
Through the tunnel we went and into the courtyard before the main street that leads to the castle. It was quite beautiful, all of it, but I was totally overwhelmed by the crowd. People were EVERYWHERE! It was maddening! I physically began to redden and get irritated immediately. I was bumped in to by many rude people including a lot of rude children and many a stroller rammed my New Zealand Elk Cowboy boots, scuffing them up.
I was almost paralyzed.

We walked towards the castle a ways and I herded the family into a little candy store and walked to a corner where it was safe. The wife was pretty upset at me and the twins were looking ready to cry.
I couldnt go on! I needed an escape from the craziness. The wife pulled out a map, and told me wed head towards Toon Town or something. The walk there was pure craziness with people running everywhere, side shows with music, a talking trash can, and some sort of princess that the twins went nuts over.
We actually had to wait in an enormous line for said princess so the twins could get autographs and photos. It was a nice little break as there was safety and semi-seclusion within the line.
However, 20 minutes later we back on the move.
We arrived in the area, and got in line for Minnie Mouses house. It was out the door when we got in line then slowly but surely wound our way around until 35 minutes later, we were in front of Minnie getting an autograph and photos of the twins again. All the way through kids were screaming, crying, getting sick, yelling, bumping me, and making me very nervous.
After an hour in the park, Id had enough. I told the wife I needed to go back to the room. She was visibly upset. She pulled out the park map and directed me to the big old train that ran around the outside of the Magic Kingdom. She told me to jump on the train and just ride around until she called me for our planned late lunch. She said shed tell me which stop to get off to meet them.
I got on the rear of the train in a row that was empty and proceeded to loop the Magic Kingdom for the next few hours. I was finally safe
on the train.
