Hey GF Gals.....
I have been super busy so i have only time to post this one thing....
LOOK AT MY TICKER!!! OH YAIM A SHORT TIMER...
Thanks Mandy for the picture....
ttfn!
That sounds like a great souvenir! Would bring to mind the special feeling of the lobby during that wonderful time.I shopped at DTD yesterday and picked up a CD of GF Christmas music. The CM who helped me said it is beautiful.
Wendo....i totally agree!!!! IT ROCKS!
k&a&c'smom I guess vacuuming simply isn't part of the routine. Maybe just in between guests?
Do you think it is the low pay that CM's receive from disney, that attribute to the bad service?

That's what I figure, too, johnsonet. They probably have it that they vacuum only between guests, or every 4th day, or something. Since we weren't in the room on every day of our stay, the mousekeeper might have vacuumed on one of the days we didn't see her. To be fair, there wasn't a lot on the floor to merit sweeping, lol.
Ditto to that! I love it for information, charm, and well thought out layouts.
Just reading some stuff about the cabanas (can't wait to reserve and enjoy for the first time in about 5 months....). What exactly is the cabana shop mentioned?
I have rarely had what I would term bad service at WDW. I have had some instances where I thought the service could be better, though. I don't know what the reason is for that - it could be because it is an outsourced company, or it could have been a bad day for the employee, or that particular employee could be a bad apple. Who knows?! But I want to stress that most of our CM interactions at WDW have been wonderful, they are what keeps us coming back to the World!
tinklovr64 - Have a wonderful time on your upcoming trip!

These are what the GV daybeds look like. Is this what she saw?
ETA: I guess they do seem more pink than purple in that picture...
I am getting excited and counting down the days![]()
I think as long as it is close enough to pink we will be ok.
Cinderumberlla...do you happen to know what room # or building it was in?
It is a challenge with some things and she is SO easy with other things. Like when the dog would chew a barbie, she would just say "oh well that's ok" but would have a meltdown when I turn a light on while watching a movie at home. She prefers absolute darkness, but worries non-stop about waking up in the dark, she is much better meeting characters now than her first trip at age 5, but still require a stroller to get through our time in the parks (I usually buy a double rental length of stayto give her room...they are great because they are like little cubbies and she can escape from some of the excitement in the park), she is fearful of some rides and fearful of ME riding some rides...we usually just play it by ear as to what we will ride and not, she needs regular meals and loves to swim in the pool...last year I took her swimming even if it was 10pm!!!Oh, and BBB does NOT work for her...her head is too sensitive and she is upset and out of sorts for days over it...took ONE time to figure that one out!!! LOL

But other than the challenges we have daily, WDW is the most wonderful and easy to take a child who faces daily challenges. This board is so very helpful too!!!!
.....She could possibly have a meltdown over this as crazy as it sounds...it happens and she will definately talk for weeks (even a year from now) about how her bed was NOT pink and how it should have been PINK and just why they don't have PINK...etc. etc. etc.....
