Have I told you lately how much I LOVE you! Thank you!!!
And your website rocks!!!

Lisa.

THANKS, Lisa
. :goodvibes I hope that number does help...If anybody else needs transpo info feel free to PM me for the number. It helped me before....BUt...as with anything Disney, it depends who you get on the other end of the phone.

We are thinking of reserving a limo from Southern Elegance for our upcoming trip. Has anyone used them recently for a review? Also, what would an appropriate tip amount be?

TIA!

We ALWAYS use them..I am probably the original SE cheerleader...and just used them again a couple weeks ago...they were awesome as always...I keep referring people to SE...and everybody's been really happy so far. We tip them at least 20%.

:beach: We have a Cabana booked for 1/2 day. I have read the posts asked some questions but still do not fully understand what the Cabana Guy does for you? The Cabana has a TV, frig. w/ drinks, fruit bowl, towels, chairs, chase lounges...this sounds complete for a pool side, sun bathing, relaxing afternoon. What do they add?

Well.....they set up the cabana for you...if you need more chairs etc...bring you more towels...they've entertained our kids by playing in the pool with them:) ....Playing ball with them....:rotfl: They wait on you....bring you bar drinks....menus...whatever...clean up any trash...clear the tables after lunch or snacks.....they are just there for your total and complete comfort.:) They are terrific and helpful in any way. And some are pretty cute.:rotfl:

A quick GF spa question....
I've read that you pay for all your spa treatments at the end. I'm doing a massage and a pedicure. Do I tip my massage / pedicure person after my massage / pedicure or do I include the tip when I pay.
Thanks :)

My DD 20 has been hoping for a cutie to attend to her every need. She knows I will be attending to DD 5 & DS 7 and she will be left all alone. Thanks for the help!

Lives4disney says they will even play with the little ones, thats great for "Me"! DH is not much for pool or beach days, he will probably be roaming or napping!

Well...Lives4Disney;) got really lucky a couple times and had Chris & he did change into his swimsuit and have fun with the kids....:rotfl: BUT...that was just on a couple occasions...He hasn't done that EVERY time. So...maybe I shouldn't have thrown that out there....but it did happen. You never know....

Enjoy the cabana! :goodvibes (if you can...it's tough when you have little ones because the zero depth entry of the pool is at the other end!! I know the first few times we rented cabanas I was out in the pool more than anywhere near the cabana due to feeling the need to be NEAR my kids)

Well I know I will have 2 hours of peace because we booked the kids on the Pirate Adventure which DH will be getting them and then taking them to the room to change...so 1/2 the time for me and 1/2 for my little pirates is good!
Thanks

This is our first stay at GF and I have been studing the GF forum, but I get a little confused sometimes. We want to pack light and usually I take hair & bath products but I keep reading the rave about the H2O products. Not familiar with this at all. We have GV (CL wasnt available), so is these products in these rooms also and if so should I not take my own?
Robes...in GV rooms also? If so they do not have them for the little ones right?
I read where someone had a case of wine delivered to their room...from where?

Any suggestions on tipping the cabana attendant?

When it is just my 2 daughters and myself I gave $25 for the 1/2 day rental..which costs $60. (Not sure if that's common....cheap? or too much?? but that's what I did - it's out there for all to comment on:rotfl: )

When it was my friends and I...we all chipped in and he got a LOT - about $100 for the 1/2 day :rotfl: Because it was 5 of us...and he did a lot more...we kept him running b/f to the bar and he was a lot of fun.:thumbsup2

H2O products are found in all the rooms at the Grand Floridian. I would recommend bringing your own products just in case the H20 isn't right for you. I think the soaps are nice, but to me, the shampoo smells a little strong. It will certainly wake you up!

My two cents...the shampoo is awesome! I adore the smell; it takes me back to the GF every time I use it!

the body butter is awesome as well!

I tip 20% of the cabana person even more if they are running around for us and if they are intreacting with my family alot.

Just wanted to say hi! I just booked a trip for June 20-27 and will be in Sugar Loaf. We usually stay at CR, but hubby said I need to try either the Poly or GF. I am hoping we have good times, I am just happy to be in the MK area.

Any suggestions?

Mary
Well, he asked for it!! :rotfl: You will love Sugar Loaf. I've read a couple of really good reviews recently :thumbsup2

You could hand them a tip after your treatment. But when you check out, there will be envelopes provided on the counter for tipping. Just enclose your tip, write your therapist's name on the envelope (and your name :) ) and drop it in the slot. I've done it both ways.

I agree! That shampoo is THICK.

Mary Congratulations on booking the GF and SL too:thumbsup2 ...we are SL fans... it is very centrally located on the property...and it is so nice to have the CL ammenities...the views are of marina or garden/courtyard pool...both are quite nice!

We were long time CR fans...unitl we stayed at the GF...although we do still stay there from time to time....

There is alot to do just around the resort itself...the music in the lobby...orchestra and pianist...there are nice pool activities...and as Lives4Disney recently posted there are now evening activities such as movies on the beach and you can make smores too....

Its really a wonderful resort...enjoy your stay...:flower3:

Wanted to add...H2O fan here too...like the shampoo...the body butter...and dont forget that wonderful mint foot rub...:)

Ooo, yeah, but I didn't get to bring any of that home, as we never asked for or received extra of that. Oh well, next trip...
