Normally we don't take clothes out of our suitcases however with 5 people in our room we will probably have to this time. Good to know we can get more hangers...we'll need them!

Well I was persistent today and decided to call dining SEVERAL times and FINALLY got a reservation for LeCellier :cool1: ...its for lunch but it'll do. We can eat a mid day lunch and do a light CS for dinner. I'll just make sure I pack plenty of snacks that day as 210 is late for the kids. I know dh really wanted to eat there so that's why I tried so hard. Plus to be honest I couldn't find much more in Epcot that we would really want to eat at. Dh loves seafood and he's not as picky as the kids or myself so its pretty easy to find places he'd like to eat (although he was out for tutto italia :confused3 :rolleyes1 ). Lunch actually looks pretty good so I think we'll be fine!

Thanks for all the advice you all gave me regarding my reservations...I appreciate it.
Happy New Year!!

For those who were curious about the pillows, DD gave them a big :thumbsup2
She said they are just like she remembered so I'm happy she's happy.:goodvibes DS (I bought one for him too) said he thought it was "pretty good" but he doesn't have the same recollection about how much we loved the pillows. He thinks we need to return very soon so his memory can be refreshed!:rotfl2: I agree with him - if we could only find the time...

Until then, I may order some pillows for me and DH...

mom2princessj - Congrats on the Le Cellier ressie. We have had lunch there several times and have always enjoyed it. There are those who think it's over-rated but we have always really enjoyed it!:)

Just got a 40% pin code (said for Passholders) today! Going to book 2 different RPC trips if possible so we can choose dates. Probably a MNSSHP date and the same week in Dec (12-19). And DH was able to pay off our trip 2 weeks ago in full today on the credit card, so a great NYE for us!!!

Denise - did you get your 40% passholder code by email or snail mail?

Still hoping for the elusive pin code!

Yay, congrats! :yay: I think we had lunch at Le Cellier at about 2, as well. It was really good! :goodvibes It also was nice and quiet, because it seemed to be closing around then. The lunch selection was also really good. It was pretty tough on us to eat so late, too, though. We thought we were going to pass out walking all the way to Canada! It was worth the wait, though. :thumbsup2

HUGE flyer by snail mail today. Was about 12 inches long and tri-fold. DH almost threw it away. :scared1:

I'll be on the lookout. Our APs expire in July and I'm dying to go back in October again for the MNSSHP. I just loved it. If we get the 40% off code I can probably talk DH into another quicky trip - even though we won't get new APs until July 2010.

Congrats on the Le Cellier ADR! :yay: We enjoyed lunch there. I just wanted to say don't settle for a time you're not happy with. If you try to call back every 3 days or so in the evening (7pm EST) I've found is the best time to grab a cancelation. I'm guessing people are relaxing after work and have time to call and re-arrange their schedules. I would call up until that morning, but that's me. I have little ones and try to stick to their dining schedule.

Thanks! Actually I think we'll be happy to eat a bit later. We may be able to use a few of our snack credits to tide us and the kids over. I know the kids will be hungry by then but I'll make sure to keep them snacking and they'll be fine. I'm glad to hear its worth it though...we are looking forward to it!

Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely keep calling as I really should have the ressie for 5 people in case my sister decides to join us. I planned originally to just walk up and take my chances getting something so this is a better plan and they still have a decent selection of things dh wants at lunch time too. We'll eat a big lunch and light dinner...probably better that way :rotfl:

Only 10 more days and we are at the GRAND :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Thanks for the info dealing with my fil. How would I contact a special reservationist for someone with a medical condition? When he was there for our wedding he ended up having some problems and many trips to the dr when we got home. Thanks for the info and I thought I was right about marina/sago lol

I keep forgetting to ask...
Since we fly southwest we'll have to print boarding passes 24 hours before our flight...is there a computer kiosk somewhere with internet access at GF or do we go to the concierge and they'll print them for us?
Thanks and Happy New Year!

I have never asked at the gf but they have printed for me at akl and poly. We usually check in on our phones and have them print.

Ditto - I checked in on my phone and then had someone at the resort print them for me. No stress about being in the right place at the right time. As long as I was in a place that had reception, I was fine.

SW has a special website for mobile phones www.mobile.southwest.com

I put an entry in my calendar for 10 minutes before the 24 hour mark and included the confirmation number in the entry. I was then able to copy and paste it in the mobile website and hit enter. Easy peasy.

Hi, I just wanted to tell you as long as you check in by phone or whatever...you don't have to show up at MCO with printed boarding passes....they sky caps can print them for you....or there are kiosks inside that you can use to do it yourself.

We have done it by Blackberry...or had concierge do it.

Denise, that is awesome!:thumbsup2 I have been an AP holder for years...NEVER EVER have I received and code by snail mail or email....I barely ever even get the AP Mickey MOnitor or whatever it is:headache: ....never get any notice by email of anything:mad: .....am i bitter? YES!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: But that is terrific for lucky you! Enjoy!!!:goodvibes

Happy New Year, GF Friends.:)

Channing We have gotten codes via post cards/email over the years occasionally...some people get them alot...:confused3 Maybe you should check that they have your correct email info in the central reservation system...

Alisonswonderland I dont know the answer on who to call for special needs but I would definitely have this info noted on my reservation...good luck...they are always so accomodating at the GF...

Thanks...my sister has a blackberry so I'll give her the mobile address and she'll be able to check in for us all
