Hello, GF friends! Sorry I've been missing for so long, I got a nasty bug right after returning from vacation. I'm still a bit under the weather, but recovering.

Thank you SO much! I am OVERexcited I think. I actually just received a reply email from IPO a little while ago (just last minute questions), makes it seem so real now! They have been so patient and good to me

78 days will be here soon I love Halloween time/ F&W at Disney! Taking DH for an anniversary trip 11/4. Staying at POR, but a bounceback may change things.....

That is so true. I was making pancakes when I called to book our November trip, and DH was laughing at me dancing in the kitchen (That's a "sticker" from DD- my GF partner in crime)

This picture literally made me gasp. It is beautiful! Was this taken in the morning???

My daughter took the picture a few years ago on a walk to the Polynesian. I thought it was at dusk, but it may have been in the morning. I am not good with sun placement in the sky and time of day. Maybe someone could help us figure it out!

Oh that's awesome. To tell you that the GF spoils you for every other resort, my dd who just turned 10, doesn't want to stay anywhere else because her absolutely favorite thing is the turndown service, she rushes into the room at night and heads for the beds to see what's been done. Well that and Mickey bars.

Awww, gosh- I hope you feel better very soon. That is so awful-- right after vacation. I was wondering why I hadn't seen you on here in awhile.

And I keep hearing about the scent of the GF-- what does it smell like??

I am terrible with sun placement and time. Of course I'm directionally challenged as well. My dad used to say I couldn't find my way out of a paper sack.

I will be trying to give updates from my Iphone once we get there- I'm not taking my laptop but will check in on this thread as often as possible.

It's so true, my niece and nephews have only stayed at the GF (3 trips each) they are so spoiled they think all Disney Resorts are like the GF. The last trip I actually took them to other resorts and they were suprised that not all the resorts didn't have a monorail. They all got so excited when we got back to the room at night and the lights were on low and there was candy on the pillows. I quess I have spoiled them for future trips.

We stayed at Poly our last visit to Disney in 07, myself, DH, and 2 DS, and my parents. My parents are a tad nervous that they won't like the GF as much as the Poly. We had a great experience there but I have always wanted to stay at the GF and when we booked it was only like $100 or so more to stay at GF. Really couldn't pass this up.

Just got back from a $5 a ticket Five For Fighting concert. It was great. This was my daughter's first real concert. Man I'm getting old. So if anyone is still up tonight I thought I would share another photo at this late hour.
