You are welcome! Keep in mind, these photos were likely taken mid-afternoon, so there is probably a better selection in the a.m. I do agree with Jungle Cruiser, the Main St. Bakery is the stuff, and well worth the wait.

Just popping in to say Hi to my GF friends!!

Been following the thread but didn't have much to add.
Until now!!!

I got a 30% off pin code for December in the mail so yesterday I booked SL because we have a wedding to attend at the WP followed by a reception at the GF!! (I'm so excited!)

It's a semi -surprise this time; the kids think that we are staying off site in a time share with my In Laws. Needless to say they are disappointed.

I was telling my 9 year old this morning about "staying" in the time share and she said to me, "What the heck, Mom???? That's not a Disney Magic Moment! I want to stay where I can see the monorail every morning when I get up. Why the heck can't we just stay at the Grand Floridian??????"

God Love Her.

I knew you all could appreciate her sentiments.....

threebeesatdisney - Today's the day, woohoo! Safe travels, have a Grand vacation.

I told my husband last night that he may not want to hear it but...."I LOVE THIS PLACE!" We are in Sago Cay in a garden view and WOW what a view! It is beautiful!

At first I thought the Wi-Fi was great but that was when the signal was strong...now I know what other disboarders mean when they say it is "spotty". I got disconnected trying to post this.

I loved the smell in the lobby when you check in. it is also here in Sago Cay when you first walk in. The scent is similar to Green Clover &Aloe at Bath & Body Works but a bit more floral.
Slept in today and now gonna make a cup of tea and sit on the balcony. LOVE, LOVE THE BALCONY! It is the biggest one we have ever had at Disney.
(minus the huge computer lol)

threebeesatdisney - Good to hear from you, so glad you love the resort and your room! Are you facing the marina? Those views are so pretty.

We love the lobby smell, too, part of our sense memory of the GF.

Good morning! Oh, threebeesatdisney, coffee on the balcony at the GF. A perfect morning in my opinion. So, excited for you to be there. Thanks for posting.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with threebeesatdisney about the free wifi. I have had the same problem at the GF, Poly and the BC. It's great when it works, but it is somewhat spotty. Try moving around the room to find the "sweet spot", that helps.

What a great picture KCMike. The lobby of the GF is so amazing. Rarely do we get to see a picture from the perspective.

Jobird, now that's Disney Magic, a pin code enabling you to stay in SL when you are going to be down there for a wedding. Amazing!!!

Jungle Cruiser - Oooh, what a beautiful photo! The lighting is gorgeous.

I remembered you saying the wifi was kind of spotty, how disappointing! I was hoping it just needed the kinks worked out, but sounds like it is still lacking. Phooey.
