Have a wonderful trip. Can't wait to hear all about it. Hope your family has a magical time.

Thanks, Robyn. I'll let you know how Mousekeeping is (I printed up cute Mousekeeping envelopes with my t-shirt designs on them).

CheerBop, rule of thumb seems to be 3-4 days prior to arriving. Here is the fax number from the Allears website (another excellent source of information), Fax - 407-824-3186.

Denise, have a wonderful trip. We'll be in the airport on Tuesday morning heading to Colorado. I still don't know if the competition will be webcast live, but here's the link if you and Lori want to check it out, http://www.mediazone.com/channel/figureskating/jsp/events.jsp?eid=593 . The qualifying competition is on November 30th, they are Juvenile Dance Group A. I think it's $4.99 to purchase the one event. If they are one of the top 9, then they go onto the finals which is Thursday night and Saturday night. I'll miss our trip to Disney, but we are definitely looking forward to the skating. I hope you guys have terrific weather and all the pixie dust they can muster.

Thx for starting this thread! This is exactly what we need for our upcoming trip! :sunny:

Triplefigs, you are getting VERY close to your trip, aren't you? I bet you're so excited! Hope everything goes beautifully---so excited you're trying out RPC--it's got to be about the best concierge experience anywhere :flower:

We're in SugarLoaf. RPC NEVER ever opened up for the past 6 months. Amazing. But now that SL is full concierge, I'm thrilled! Besides, PiratesoftheCarolinas will be there too!

Can't believe we go in less than 36 hours!

Thanks for the link. Lori and I will check it out. Please tell your DS and partner good luck for us!

Tammi- Thanks for the info. The best of luck to your son. How exciting! :goodvibes

Denise- I finished our t-shirts and they look great. Thanks for the design. I can't believe we leave in 3 days. Well, I've got to start packing today! My 3 year old has an infection he just can't shake. We're headed to the ped. for our 2nd round of antibiotics at 11:00. My mother offered to keep him tomorrow so that I can finish packing for 5. My Mom is the best. LOL, at least the laundry is done!!!

The Food Channel had the GF Gingerbread House on last night. It really got me excited to go! :cloud9:

Lori,

Hope your son is better soon! I saw the Gingerbread house. I want the replica and a shingle to eat. YUMMY! We leave in the am. Glad your shirts look good. I thought it turned out great too.

See you this week!

Thanks, his doctor put him on prednisone. It makes him act like a bull in a china shop. Yeah, me! Have a safe trip.

P.S.- if you can't get a shingle try the Gingerbread Lattes at Starbucks. I think I'm addicted. :goodvibes

Can anyone please offer me some advise on the best room requests to ask for in the Sugar Loaf building?
Thank You so much for you help!

Sugar Loaf has only garden or marina views. You may be able to see the fireworks from the marina, but you won't find a room with a castle view. One of the best rooms we had there was 6315 (nice fireworks view).

Well, we're at the GF! SugarLoaf is awesome, awesome, awesome. The CM's are so friendly, helpful, and NICE! We definitely got PD and we did get the Lodge Tower Room (6220). We have a huge balcony and the extra sitting room. It looks over the pool, and you can glimpse the castle if you look to your left. It does have the sleeper sofa (DH is using it now!). The rooms are clean, lovely, and wonderful. The food has been good too. The kids are living off the cupcakes and hot chocolate!

The tree and gingerbread house are amazing. They were playing Christmas music in the lobby tonight and it was so lovely. I'm hooked on the GF!

Here's a link to some pictures from today.

Hope you are having a wonderful time. Glad to hear the rooms are clean - let me know how mousekeeping does. It looks like your kids had a great time at Chef Mickeys. Keep us posted.

Hi Denise, Thanks for checking in. Looks like you guys are having a great time. I also requested a tower room, hope we get some PD in August. How is the seating arrangements in SLC building, were you able to find somewhere to sit for your family size. Enjoy the rest of your stay.

Your children are so precious!! What awesome photos. They look absolutely THRILLED! Very cute :wizard: Love the one of your boys with their arms crossed at Chef Mickey's. Something tells me they've seen their dad doing this ;)
Have a great time and enjoy yourself. I remember reading your posts this summer and know how long you've been looking fwd. to this!
The pic of the pool made me so homesick :guilty: Good thing I'll be there with my family in just a couple of weeks :cool1:

Loved your pictures! You're kids are adorable! So glad you all are having a great time! How's the weather down there? Is it getting pretty cold at night? Have fun!

Yes, we have a garden view reservation and I'm thinking whether to request a particular building. I never have before, and we've always been really happy with where we ended up. But I've always been a little concerned about ending up in one of the lower floor garden-view rooms in Big Pine Key and Boca Chica that look at the pool bar/cabana building. Just from seeing Sago Cay, I think I'd be happy with just about any of the garden view rooms. (I'd also be happy with 90 percent of the other garden view rooms, it's just those handful in BPK and BC that I'd like to avoid -- maybe a request for Sago Cay will accomplish that.)

We have had a garden view in the first floor of Sago Cay, facing the monorail. I thought it was a very nice view, and loved watching the monorail go past! It was also very quiet.

Hi! CA Dreaming, yes the comforters are new. They are replacing them all. The new ones are plain with no cameos. I like the old better. They said to write or email the GF if we want the old ones back.

Weather is gorgeous! Sunny with highs in the upper 60's lows in the 40's.

I did email them 3 days prior to remind them of my request for the Lodge Tower room.

I posted an update to my live trip report with new pictures. The CMs have been wonderful again today. Robert especially is terrific!
