Yes all rooms on that side are considered MK views. I believe that it is floors 6-11. But i think you should have a good view of the park and fireworks on any floor!

You are correct that the Magic Kingdom View rooms go from the 6th floor to the 11th floor and for those who don't know there are none on the 5th floor because of the Monorail station, so they only have the Bay Lake View. I also agree that no matter floor your on the view will be great, plus my family and I have had the Magic Kingdom View on the 6th floor and there was nothing wrong with it.

We arrived Monday and received an upgrade from garden view to MK view, we were thrilled to say the least!!! The parks have been very managable if you utilize FP. LOTS!!! of tour groups everywhere...We just make sure that we're not in line behind a tour leader at the FP distribution. They collect everyone's tickets (maybe 40 to 50) and get FP for everyone. (I only made that mistake once!!! )

The CR and Poly are sharing a bus, as is the WL and GF, so only 1 stop after we get picked up. Buses have been about a 15 minute or less wait, so not too bad at all.

We did the Wishes cruise last night and it was fabulous!!!!! We boarded at 9PM and left the dock to look around the old Discovery Island for alligators, but didn't see any. Then we just cruised around for a while until the Electric Light Parade started, then "parked" about 50 feet in front of it so it was really fun. After that we went right in front of the MK and watched Wishes with the music piped onto the boat, just wonderful!!!


We check into the Poly on Friday for 9 more nights, so if you have any questions about CR that I can answer before Friday, let me know and I'll try my best.....

The only question I have is how much has been completed when it comes to the construction of Chef Mickey's Express?

Thanks CR Fan 4 Life!!! The area looks like it's been mostly cleared, just concrete floor, boards up and a few scattered chairs and equipment, like a staging area. It looks like they are demolishing some sort of counter area at this point...

All rooms in the Tower and South Garden Wing have a computer.

I'm in Garden Wing, Garden View.... is that area in the South Garden Wing? I plan on bringing my laptop but if there is a computer in the room I probably won't.

Well just so you know some sites like Youtube and Wikipedia are blocked, so if your brought a laptop then you don't need to worry about that happening to any sites you like to visit.

Also your room will be in the South Garden Wing since they no longer have the North Garden Wing.

I would only be using the computer to upload photos to my blog (typepad) then share them on here. The only reason I'd be getting on the computers is to talk about my disney trip.

If you are asking about uploading photos threw the in room computer I don't think that is possible, plus someone also mentioned that the Photobucket site is blocked. However if you wanted to do that with your laptop you would have no problems doing that.

If there are so many sites blocked, can you even check email (i.e. hotmail, etc.) Seems like I read somewhere that you can request more towels, contact housekeeping, etc. via this in room computer. It's only a few sites that are blocked. You can still access e-mail from any account and I also like their computer for coming on here to post while I am at WDW. I also like checking various sports websites and news sites from Toronto. Besides that you can request towels and other things threw the Online Concierge program, which is another feature on the computers.

Last Oct there was a link for room service, however when you clicked on it, it directed you to call for room service. I guess that option just isn't functional yet.

The uploading can wait! All I really care about is maybe checking emails and discussing my trip during breaks, at night, and early in the morning on here and a few other places. But if it means not lugging my mac book on a plane then I'm all for it. I'm so excited that there are computers in the rooms!

Are there are any document programs on the computer like notepad that I could open up a word document in?

Can I hook up an external drive to the computer with my files on it?

Does the internet feature on the computers allow you to access email programs like gmail and aol?

Sorry for all the questions. I would bring my own laptop but it weighs 12 pounds and the ethernet port is broken.

There are no programs like that. However last August my Dad was able to download a file with an attachment from Microsoft Word, then he was able to open it and read what it said.

I am not sure.

Does the internet feature on the computers allow you to access email programs like gmail and aol?

When your on the internet just type in the address for your e-mail provider and then log in to read it.
