Honeystar:
The Garden Wing 1br suite will not work for you guys, because it only has ONE king sized bed, one double sleeper sofa, and one queen sleeper sofa. This suite is basically a bedroom and separate parlor/sitting area. The bedroom has the king bed and one pull out couch, and the second pull out couch is in the sitting area. This room will only sleep 6 people, unless you decide to put the kids on the floor or something. In the interest of more privacy for all, I'd not suggest this option, plus Disney may not allow it if your toddlers will be over 3. At that point, they count towards the room occupancy limit, and for that particular room, it is 6.
The Garden Wing - Hospitality Suite is a better option, as it has 2 Queens, 1 Daybed, and 1 Queen Sico bed. That room will sleep 7 comfortably, and with more room to spare.
However, before you book a "suite", make sure that you will REALLY utilize the concierge for all it's worth. The food, while nice, is not really worth the extra expense for a suite. Especially if you will end up in the Garden Wing. Those rooms can be had, particularly in Value season, for a VERY low price. You could book FOUR standard garden wing rooms for the price of that one hospitality suite per night. Suites are NEVER discounted at all, no AAA, no AP, no special codes, nothing. You will pay rack rate. And it's a lot. You might even do better booking two rooms on the Atrium level of the Contemporary with a discount or something rather that a suite. Just something to think about. Sure, a suite would be nice, but you will get a fridge standard in ANY deluxe room at WDW, so you can easily just have a grocery delivery service bring you food to keep in your own room for the entire stay at a fraction of the cost of concierge. Unless you will really utilize the concierge's pre-trip planning services (for ADR's, other trip planning, etc), think about where else all that extra money could go...
If it were me, personally, I'd go with two connecting rooms in the tower, MK view, non concierge, rather than a suite in the garden wing.
Or, two connecting wing rooms, and use ALL the extra money for some really good signature dining experiences that will be MUCH better than the "snacks" up in concierge. Not to knock concierge, but it's not all that it's cracked up to be at WDW. It's gone downhill in the past few years. Have Garden Grocer deliver you a few bottles of Kahlua (or just pack in your suitcase) and have your own nightcaps on the balcony in your pajamas at the end of the day.
