How did you get 40% off???

I have a ressie for 40% off for 3 nights 9/08 in a Tower MKV room. I was unable to get the last night. Should I ...

A. Just keep calling...
B. Get a separate ressie for any room type for the 4th night...
C. Keep my Poly ressie for that 4th night...
D. All of the above!
E. (any other ideas?)

Also do you think that they would make us move? or Not let us add another night at check in?

Top of The World....I have not thoight of tht place in a long time. I would LOVE to hae it come back. The California Grill is just not for me!!!

OK, the CM I spoke with was very helpful..she stated that at The Tempo Grab and Go you can get your mugs and refill them there and at The Sand Bar (which is seasonal by the pool).

Here's hoping that your CM was right! Did you talk to someone at the CR, just wondering. We really LOVE the mugs!

I think that's a very good question in this situation. If you spoke to a regular Cast Member who works at CRO, I would not put to much stock into what they say when it comes to information like this. If you called the Contemporary and spoke to someone on the phone that would be better, however there is still that little bit of doubt. The reason I say that is last August when I spoke to that manager of the Food & Fun Center she sounded very clear on what was going to happen with the Tempo Grab & Go when it came to the mugs not being sold, so I would take her word over a regular Cast Member that I spoke with over the phone.

I miss the Top of the World. The breakfast buffet was great as was the Broadway Review. Of course, there are many other options for breakfast bufets, but there aren't that many dinner show options. Disney could always use another dinner show. I say they get rid of the snooty california review and reinstate Top of the World!

Those were the days, BostonRob! They had the best breakfast buffet ever on Disney property. Elegant with a huge selection.

I miss the Top of the World Lounge, too ~ when anyone could go up there anytime and enjoy the view. But now there are so many visitors to Disney World every day it would probably be mobbed.

Are there connecting rooms in the tower? We had connecting in the garden wing several years ago, but we would really like to be in the tower if we decide to do the CR again. We have a family of 6 and really need two connecting rooms.

I am sure you put the sad face in by mistake, because isn't it a good thing the Tower has connecting rooms since you need them?

When we stayed at the GF last fall, people didn't seem very happy with the new YOMD mugs being sold at the resorts. We were put in the last building that hadn't been re-habbed so we got our mugs out of the mini-bar -- they were the old ones with the GF logo and were really colorful. Guests in the other buildings had to get their mugs at Gasparilla Grill (the CS/fast food for GF) and they were the new YOMD mugs which I thought were kind of plain. We were constantly being approached by other guests wanting to know how they could get mugs like ours. It seemed to me that not much thought went into creating a design for the new mugs.
