Well its been a while since i last posted.
We took our first trip to Orlando in October and just had the best two weeks of our lives, me DH DS2 AND DD4.It was all we ever hoped for and more, well and truly bitten by the bug.We did all the parks, MNSSHP which was just superb and universal and sea world.Trouble was when we came home i could hardly bear to come on the boards and see people so excited about their upcoming trips... a case of the green eyed monster!!
The best advise seems to be to start planning another trip which is just what we have done and i must say i feel better already having a date in mind. We aim to go may 20th 06 which means taking DD5 out of school for the week pre half term but what can you do. There is no way they would cope with the humidity of august.My countdown seems a lifetime away but it will give us time to plan and save and pay off the credit card from last time..damn that florida mall!
We have booked a gorgeous villa in Indian Ridge oaks..three bedrooms, pool/jacuzziu etc.. Not sure yet if my sister and her daughter also 5 will be coming too. This seems to be nice and close to Disney as last time we were on i drive and the travelling was a pain. Anyone have any experience of this development??
The villa owners can be flexible but can anyone advise how best to book flights and a car. I think i would like to go Virgin but BA also seem to be reasonable. Can you advise when may flights would normally be available to book. I see they are currently up to april 06.
I've noticed some of you book a virgin flydrive then don't use the car.Is this cheaper and if so who do you then book a car with?
I would be gratefull for any advise on the above as this is my first go at independent travel! Many thanks, Rachael
