This is part one, you may want to check part two.Did something happen to the pages of this thread? I was just scrolling back looking for something and the previous page to this started in January, then went to march then to may. I know there were a lot of posts that are missing. Does anyone know what may have caused this?
CSR is a great resort but it is also a large resort so as long as you are okay with some walking, then give it a go. If you like the small size of POFQ, that may be your best option. I just would hate to see you disappointed in CSR because of the size.I have found this thread to be really helpful! I am about to make our package ressies in a few minutes and I am STILL undecided about whether we should stay at CSR or POFQ. I have stayed at FQ before and loved it. This thread is making it really hard not to pick CSR!

One of the best if you want to be super close to the pool and bus stop #4. Its 5 mins from the main building. How is Cabana 8A, as far as location goes?
Thanks! =)
This is our favorite location. We always request and have gotten Cabana 8A.
We love CSR!
We'll be staying at CSR over Christmas. Mostly we want to be close to the first bus stop on the route. Walking to the big pool is not a problem and I don't think we'll have much to do in El Centro at all.
Would Casitas 4 or 5 be a good location for us ?
When people mention "a lot of walking", I don't know what that means anymore.. I've read so many times how POP is HUGE and that it takes "forever" to walk from some of the buildings to the main hall.
Well, we were in the 80's, about as far as you can possibly get, and the walk was maybe 3mns.![]()
Casita 3 & 5 are very nice. Casita 4 has the quiet pool. I wouldn't get wrapped up in being on the bus first because they usually do not fill up.We'll be staying at CSR over Christmas.
