Did something happen to the pages of this thread? I was just scrolling back looking for something and the previous page to this started in January, then went to march then to may. I know there were a lot of posts that are missing. Does anyone know what may have caused this?

This is part one, you may want to check part two.

This will be my first stay at this CSR and the first for a moderate.... I am looking forward to staying here.....
Great thread....

I am being sent to WDW for work and am planning to spend 3 additional nights at a different hotel from the one we are working at; So Coronado Springs was on my list of choices. This thread is definitley putting CS as a top contender....i am taking my mom instead of my husband, so we want to have some mother/daughter fun. We haven't been to Disney World in 10 years....any suggestions on where to even begin????

:) I have found this thread to be really helpful! I am about to make our package ressies in a few minutes and I am STILL undecided about whether we should stay at CSR or POFQ. I have stayed at FQ before and loved it. This thread is making it really hard not to pick CSR!

CSR is a great resort but it is also a large resort so as long as you are okay with some walking, then give it a go. If you like the small size of POFQ, that may be your best option. I just would hate to see you disappointed in CSR because of the size.

:wizard: Well, even after reading your post about the size of Coronado, I still went ahead and booked CSR! Even though I have been thinking about it for awhile, it took me all morning but after looking at your photos and considering, I think we will like it very much.

The size doesn't bother me too much, since we have a car and will be at the parks most of the time, we wont be wandering the resort alot. My goal is to stay at every resort at least once and CSR was high on my list. Thanks for all the great info here!

This is our favorite location. We always request and have gotten Cabana 8A.
We love CSR!

I have also requested Cabana 8A for our stay next month. I just love the look of it with the beaches. From the photos, all the villages look pretty, though. I plan on taking lots of pics. Can't wait!

We'll be staying at CSR over Christmas. Mostly we want to be close to the first bus stop on the route. Walking to the big pool is not a problem and I don't think we'll have much to do in El Centro at all.
Would Casitas 4 or 5 be a good location for us ?

When people mention "a lot of walking", I don't know what that means anymore.. I've read so many times how POP is HUGE and that it takes "forever" to walk from some of the buildings to the main hall.
Well, we were in the 80's, about as far as you can possibly get, and the walk was maybe 3mns. :confused3

We have never had a problem with walking either, and enjoyed staying at Ranchos 7B. It had a quiet pool, very short walk to main pool, bus stop right out front, and in a quieter area away from many conventioners (which we never had a problem with anyway). Also if you go up to the third floor after leaving the bus stop, when illuminations is going on at Epcot, you can catch a small glimpse of the fireworks over the trees, my kids had a kick out of seeing some fireworks from the hotel:) . Have a great trip!!!

Casita 3 & 5 are very nice. Casita 4 has the quiet pool. I wouldn't get wrapped up in being on the bus first because they usually do not fill up.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building. Close to bus top 2.

CSR is using H2O Aquatics line of products for the soap, cream and shampoo. You can order these, the bottles have a 1-800 number.
1-800-242-2264 to re-supply!

I can tell you that we stayed at Ranchos 6B in 2005 and it took me 18 minutes round trip for DW coffee every morning.

I look at it this way...any building in CSR is closer than my house in PA!
