Just a quick note. Back from Coronado springs. Loved the resort, loved everything about it. I'll post more later..................

O.k. I can write a little bit more. We were in the Casitas building 3 room 3366. It was a corner room with 2 windows. It was beautiful and a short walk to the food court area. We always used bus stop number 1, and that was fine for us. House keeping was great, and so was the service. We needed extra blankets, and they were delivered promptly. My only complaint was how long it took to get our luggage. After getting in after 8:30, our luggage wasn't delivered to our room until after midnight!!! The food was wonderful, many choices available, and with the dining plan, none of us went hungry. As a matter of fact, too much food. I still have cookies and rice krispy treats on my counter!

The pool area was great. My kids didn't swim to long, because it was getting chilly. However they loved the hottub.

I would recommed CS to anyone and would stay there again in a minute.

Is the upgrade to waterview worth the extra $$ in your opinion? We stayed standard at POFQ in October because I couldn't see spending extra on water view. However, the pictures I've seen of CSR make it appear that a waterview room adds to the experience. I'm planning a trip next December to celebrate my college graduation, so the resort is my choice. Buzz2001, your website has me sold on CSR, I had been planning WL, but your pictures are amazing.

I wouldn't pay for a waterview room. IMO, since you don't have your own balcony, it is not worth it. Out of all of our trips to CSR, I only paid for a waterview once. And only once I did not get a waterview room, when we were in rancho 6b.

Hi, I went to CSR for the first time last December (first 2 weeks) and loved it, we were in Casitas 4 top floor, perfect. I'm planning on returning in May 2007 which I know is going to be busier than December. We rely 100% on the buses as we will not be driving and am a bit nervous how the buses are in the busier times of year? We were right next to bus stop 2 and had no problems at all in December, will it be OK in May and are the buses full by the time they get to the last stop?

I agree with everyone else. We had Casitas 4, also on the top floor. No waterview but we overlooked a tree and grassy area. Since you don't have your own balcony, I don't think it would matter.

You'll love it there!

We are DVC members and still love this resort it is our second favourite place to stay at Disney behind the All Stars. We stayed here on our honeymoon and couldn't get enough of it we always go back for a meal at the Pepper Market on every trip.

Just got back also, We were right near you in room 3463. Loved the room and the resort. We requested an upper floor in Casitas 3 and got it. We paid for a standard room, and that is what this is considered, but we had a great water view. I do agree with another poster who said that it is not worth the extra money to pay for a water view since you do not have a balcony.

All the good things written about CSR on these boards were true, Such as the bus service, the beautiful grounds, the housekeeping staff, etc. Actually, this resort exceeded all my expectations.

Minor complaints: the Casitas area is a little confusing to find your way around, at first but I must say this also adds to its charm. Regarding the Pepper Market: the food was good and the servers were very helpful but when it gets crowded the service goes down and they can not keep up with the orders. I complained to a manager one night that I did not receive my order until after my family had finished there meal and the table had been cleared even though they ordered theirs right ahead of me in line. They were nice enough not to charge us for any of the meals and put it "on the mouse" as they say.

Thanks Buzz for a very helpfull and informative thread. We stayed 7 nights and would not hesitate to stay here again.

With only 20 days to go, I think I have had most of my questions answered through this forum but I have a few others. We stayed at POR a few years back and they had a toaster and microwave in the food court which was great to warm up leftovers or toast a bagel in the morning. At the POLY and CR, I brought popcorn and asked to use the microwaves which wasn't a problem. Is there something similar in the pepper market or is it much more of a restaurant atmosphere?

And one more question, I requested connecting rooms (2 adults, 3 children under 11) in the Cabanas section but our flight was changed so we won't get to the resort until after 8pm. Just curious if they would even consider our building request given we are so late. Thanks for any information you can provide!

The only thing I did not see mentioned was the Jr Suites. I have seen the pictures on the other websites, but nothing was mentioned about what building they are in. I was hoping someone would know. Also, are they really big enough to sleep 6? There will be 4 adults and 2 kiddos in our group: me, DH, my mom & grandma, 12 & 4 yr old.

Only 3 months from today and we will be at WDW!

all suites are located in casita 1. If you search this thread, there are pics of the jr suites.

Yes, there are microwaves that can be used at the PM.

50% of the rooms at CSR are connecting so hopefully you will have a good chance. As far as the cabanas go, its all luck.

We're staying at CSR in March and have asked for a room with a king bed. There are only 60 rooms with king beds in them. Does anyone know if these rooms are spread out amoung the different sections, or if they are more likely to be in one section as opposed to another.

We just got back from CSR and stayed in Casitas 5 in a King bed room, one thing we asked about was if every king room was handicap accessable. We are not disabled and noticed the bed to be extremly low and osme other things like a raised toilet and a pocket door to the bathroom. We got used to it but it would be worth requesting a king with a regular bed.

Just got back from our holiday vacation. Due to a set of unexpected circumstances, we ended up having to split our stay between three resorts.

The first seven nights were spent at our new FAVORITE Disney resort...Coronado Springs!! It couldn't have been more magical. Everything from the room to the food to the service was extraordinary!

Thank you Buzz for suggesting Cabana 9B and your wonderful information regarding this resort. The room location was absolutely excellent! We especially appreciated the short stroll to Bus Stop #1, and the close promixity to El Centro and the Pepper Market.

The resort is just lovely anyway, but seeing how beautifully it was decorated for Christmas made it even more magical. All of the staff were friendly, very helpful and just wonderful.

Having to move offsite for out next three days and then to Port Orleans -Riverside for our last night, we were truly able to compare and confirm our appreciation for everything this resort has to offer.

We learned two valuable lessons during our stay. We will never, EVER stay offsite again and the Coronado Springs will definitely be our #1 onsite choice for future Disney plans!
