We used our CS credits mainly at breakfast. The last day, I got a croissant and watermelon and they counted that as a combo when I checked out so I didn't have to pay cash. We didn't love the PM but we didn't hate it either. It worked well for breakfast though we discovered that since we didn't have kids, we asked to be seated further away from the food. They had a tendency to cram everyone in close to the food.

I doubt you will have any problems. They feed you pretty well at breakfast. You have the right attitude--go and experience for yourself and don't let all of us here induce too much pre-trip stress.

I loved this resort and so did my DH and DD,the only thing I regret is that I didn't have enough time to explore the rest of the grounds they were beautiful.
We were in Cabana's 8B I loved this location close to everything. Main pool and quiet pool. Short walk to main building. The staff was great, short check-in every question answered.

The room was very clean on the second day housekeeping changed the shower curtain to a new one. I didn't see a problem with the old one. They would arrange my DD stuffed animals in the window. She got a real kick out of that.
My DH and I ate at both Maya Grill and Pepper Market we liked both of them never any bad food. Our dinner one night a Maya Grill was excellent.

Gift shop was nice had everything you could think of. My DD loved the main pool she went down that slide about 50 times. The hot tub was great and very relaxing. We spent sometime in the quiet pool also my DD like this to. Both area's were very clean.

We also used the two arcades which my DD loved.

I don't know why this hotel gets so many bad review.

I never ran into a rude staff member there or bad service it was a great vacation.

My response when someone say "You liked CSR?" in a shocked voice is "Actually we loved CSR -- it's more of a Deluxe in a Mods clothing. Something for everyone and beautiful as well." I hope all of you first timers enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy ours.

I know it only comes with a refrigerator. We are renting a microwave from the limo company for $45. There are places that will rent them to you, I don't think WDW promotes cooking in the rooms.

The post I was reading (on another board) said that mousekeeping delivered the microwave by mistake to their room and they requested it was taken away , which it was by mousekeeping. Thats why I wondered if you could request them. We don't want to 'cook' just maybe heat up a few things.

We will be at CSR the beginning of April for 6 nights, Saturday-Thursday. We want to do Hoop de Doo at either the 5pm or 7 seating. Does anyone recommend a certain night and seating as being better? I have heard that seating is done by order of reservations, and we want the closest possible. Ten years ago, we were on the balcony (although we still loved it).

We are finally here!

It is so beautiful here!! We got to the resort around 8:30 pm and toured the grounds a little. We ate at PM and it was GREAT! This morning we went to Magic Kingdom, but came back for a little rest and we are going back later tonight. I am glad we chose this resort! We are in Cabanas 8B room 8628, it is very nice. We are a short walk from bus stop 4 and the dig site.
