we just got back and stayed in casitas 3. It was wonderful. close to the pepper market and covered walkway. Beautiful courtyard with flowers, and water fountain. There was a reception of some sort one night. I didnt even hear it. It was set up by the fountain. Sometimes I could hear the fountain in the evening - it was shut off at night. Loved the location- we are not pool people per say so it was the perfect location for us.

Thanks, bab31! I have my heart set on Casita 3. The courtyard and fountains and lighting are calling to me!

When we first booked our trip, our reservation confirmation stated a "Standard View" room at CSR. Yet when we recently changed our dates, the confirmation now states a "Limited View" room. Is there a difference between "Standard View" and "Limited View?"

I read this on another thread.

We had a limited view on our last visit. They were the only rooms available at the time of our check in. When we looked out our window or walked outside our door, we were greeted by a wall-type architectural structure, that almost completely blocked our view. The room was also darker because very little light came through the window.

If it weren't for the fact that we were only there for two days, I would have asked for another "standard" room when one became available the next morning.

That's why so many of us think of CSR as a deluxe at moderate prices. The amenities are just as good as those at the more pricey hotels and the theming is just as great as well. Now if we could only get two sinks we'd be in business -- but then they might have to start charging more.

When should be we request a rollaway bed and what are the costs? Extended family traveling with me has a room booked at CSR in May as well and they have 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 9,5,2) They do not want a crib or play pen. The rollaway would be for the 9YO.

I also had limited view on my reservation and I just called and spoke with a disney rep and he stated that it is limited view or water view. Limited view means standard view, it does not mean partially obstructed. Maybe those who got partially obstructed had bad luck.

I know its along time away...but I think CSR will be our resort next trip!! I want deluxe service, but my mom is coming along, yea! but I cannot expect her to pay deluxe price for herself in her own room!! My family and I can do connecting rooms so we have 2 sinks! And more space!
