We're requested the Casitas for our upcoming trip. Hopefully we'll get that request...
50% of the rooms at CSR are adjoining rooms (door connecting the two rooms). You chances are good that you can get those.cammie1229 said:CSR is at the top of our list right now for a moderate pick. We were originally looking at POFQ but some of the posts and pictures (and Buzz's website) helped sway us a more this way.
Would just like to hear if its good for kids ages 10, 5 and 2 at the time of trip and if the Cabanas would be a good spot to ask for.
Also, we are two families. How can we make sure that we have two rooms close together?
Being a convention centre shouldn't be a problem with crowding, should it?

Good to knowrie'smom said:When we booked our rooms,we told the CM that our daughter and her friend were 11 and she told us that connecting rooms would be guaranteed so you should not have any problem. Your children will love CSR as will you.
There were no crowds when we were there at the end of May/early June.

Although, being new, I do admit that all the letters (CSR - that was easy, AKL, POS, etc.) confused me a bit. I'm slowly figuring them out, but is there a place that lists all those? I must have spend a couple hours trying to figure this one out: MNSSHPI did finally get it, though.

Have a great trip!! Remember, cabana 9a is a smoking optional room.newbie94 said:I've been lurking here for a few weeks, reading all the wonderful information everyone has been sharing about CSR and Disney in general. Anyway, what made me decide to finally stop lurking and post something (which may be one of the only things I post) is that I got the information on our trip (we leave October 1st) from our Benevolant Benefactors (my in-laws) and found out that they:
1. Booked a water-view room at CSR
2. Requested building 9A or 9B

I can't wait to leave!! Oh, and they also got ADRs (see I'm getting it) for some great places as far as I've read on here.![]()
BTW, This is my very FIRST trip to WDW and I was not really excited until I got on DIS and started reading. Thanks everyone for helping me go from this:to this:
about our Disney trip.

No problem, that's the main reason for starting the site. Just to help others see it is a great resort. Have a great trip!! April is a wonderful time fo year to be at WDW.apr9twins said:Buzz-
Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all the great CSR information that you provide. I am traveling with my whole family (12 of us - ages 1 year to 65!) next April and we really debated on where to stay. We had it narrowed down to POR and CSR - and all the great pictures and things that you had to say swayed us to CSR. We're really looking forward to it!
thanks!

Every morning while getting coffee, or getting ready to go to the parks I would see the conventioneers, and think how those poor slugs had to sit in boring meetings all day long while we were enjoying WDW!
Bottom line, the conventions really didn't affect us at all.
