This is the courtyard between building 2 & 3.

Nice picture Buzz.

Makes one want to stay in the Casitas section :goodvibes

Yeah, 6a is the furthest building. Glad to hear you enjoyed it overall. I look forward to your post.

We were in 6a last week and thought it was great! Just across the parking lot from bus stop 3 and closer to the dig site pool than the Ranchero quiet pool. The main building wasn't close, but we don't eat at the resort much, and it was still a LOT closer than our room at POR was. That was a hike.

Where are the smoking rooms in the Casita section? Would love to be in Casita 3!

Cabana 9a is the only smoking optional building at CSR.

There is no need to bump this thread since it is locked on top of the page with all the other resort threads.

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I have bumped in up in response to others looking for info and why do you find this thread further down if it is somewhere else? :confused3

well I'm off on Saturday :woohoo: I rang CSR last night to try and link our 3 seperate parties that are going and about my grandfather's back and leg problems in the hope that we will be able to get something close to the main building. She promised to pass all of this on to the room assignor so I'll let you know how I get on when I get back. A huge thankyou to Buzz for maintaining this thread so well, it was your fantastic work that inspired me to book CSR 18 months ago and I can't wait to eat a wet burrito, stroll Lago Dorado and slip n slide down the jaguar slide. Will report when i return home :wave2:

I understand perfectly that this is part of the resort sticky. However, people seem to post more frequently when they 'see' the thread listed on the first page, rather than having to 'look-it-up'. Many of the popular resort threads do this. Plus newbies frequently don't understand this fact and then they start new threads looking for info.

I thought I read a few weeks ago that the slide at CSR might be under construction. Does anyone know for sure? Should I just call?
