CSR is using H2O Aquatics line of products for the soap, cream and shampoo. You can order these, the bottles have a 1-800 number. 1-800-242-2264 to re-supply!

I found them at Nordstrom's too. They had them at the GCH when we were there in May, I loved them, especially the body cream! :goodvibes

oh god, the tax forum will be there in September? I was hoping I got lucky and there wouldn't be a convention the week I am going, at least it's at the end of the week.

they will be there for the last 3 days of our vacation too...but maybe its not a bad thing...:goodvibes

We were at CSR in late June and there were two (or three?) conventions going on yet the resort felt "empty." Not only the buses and the pools, yet just strolling along the walkways at all hours of the day & evening was very peaceful and quiet. :upsidedow

That always seems to be the case when I visit CSR. It will be sold out but yet feel empty. :thumbsup2

BUZZ:

Do the convention attendees usually stay in the Casitas? I think I read that, has it been your experience? I ask because I requested Casitas or Cabanas when I booked our trip, but since reading more about CSR I decided I really would rather stay in the Cabanas. AND the IRS convention is the same week we will be there (Sept 12- 17). So I'm hoping it may work out well for me if the IRS people booked the Casitas (either that or I will end up in the worst possible Casitas building, the one farthest from everything)! :sad2:
Do you think it would have any effect at this late date if I called and changed my request to Cabanas?

Quite a few were in the Cabanas. Especially when there was a smoking Cabana a lot of convention people were there, but also some were in the non-smoking Cabanas. No real extra noise in the Cabanas because of conventioneers, though.

I agree, I think they are placed all over the resort. I saw some convention guests walking from all areas in the morning when getting my coffee from the PM. They shouldn't effect you at all.

Does anyone who has been recently know if CSR has swapped to YOMD mugs yet?

Thanks

Elise :goodvibes

Here's a picture of the mugs we got on 8/5/07...and they had BUNCHES of these stacked all around PM and La Tienda's. I don't think they'll be switching anytime soon.

No they have not. They are the last resort and they may not since the Pepper Market is run by an outside company.

Thanks!

The ones I bought last year are starting to look worn and I was hoping to replace them with CSR mugs rather than YOMD!! ;)

They are placed in all areas of the resort but the casitas are the main area because it is the largest area room wise.

Just booked a 2 week holiday at CSR with 2 rooms, with waterview and a request for interconnecting rooms in cabana building 9b (I know they are just requests but the worst they can do is say no, its not like they can take you outside at dawn or shoot you or such like)

:lmao: :cool1: :dance3:

Buzz,

I was wondering if there is a website that lists all the different conferences and conventions going on at CSR...would love to know who will be there when we are (Sept 22-28, 2007 and possibly again in December 2008).

Thanks for your awesome website and this FAQ! It's really great and informative - plus my DS4 loves the pics of the pool!

Thanks!

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the canopy boat rentals at CSR. I had planned on signing us up for the fishing excursion but found out the ones at CSR are two people only so the girls aren't wild about that -- they wanted to do something with Daddy.

If I rent the canopy boat for two hours can DH fish while I relax and the girls hang out with him? Or is fishing without a guide strictly forbidden? Just curious. Looking at things to do...

I just called disney because I tried making a payment online and it wouldn't go through- grr... Anyways I added a room request to my reservation- I would like to stay in the Cabana 9b building- close to everything. Don't know if they will honor that but I will try- any suggestions?

Someone said that the more general of a request the better- like only name a certain building, not the room number or what floor you want to stay in, hope this helps...
